In good conscience I should add that while I try to maintain a civil tongue here, I do sometimes get frustrated by a couple of behaviors on here:
1) The Wall of Posts - 100 posts in your first month? You may be participating a bit too much.
2) Master of Threads - We don't need a new thread for every thought you have. There are folks that have been here for years who I don't know that I've ever seen a topic from. A quarter of your posts should not be new threads.
3) Captain Hoax - Feed your ego by posting a fake rumour. Attention! Drama! Then claim it was all in good fun and everyone else should chill.
4) The Last Word - Do not disagree with this person. Their opinion is correct. Yours is wrong.
While there's nothing you can do about number four, the first three can be mitigated by installing some sort of regulator limiting new threads to members who have been here for a certain period of time and the number of posts in a twenty-four hour period. I'm guessing that that technology doesn't exist in proboards but it would be nice.
In lieu of that, I urge patience, understanding and the ignore button. There's a lot more good than bad here.
All you vets who say that people posting unnecessary threads is a big problem, I say that filling threads with useless trash talk is more of a problem. Ive seen this issue a lot on other forums. I think people should feel free to post as they please, and if someones makes a post that causes a problem, let the mods handle it. If you dont like someones post, then leave it alone.

Why is anyone responding to this guy? It's a troll you fools!

I may be blind to the troll charateristics, but read the guy's posts. Is he a troll?

I don't think he's a troll. I think he's taking the message board thing a little too seriously / personally but I think he's genuinely just here to chat.

he sounds like ryanhashton, who I'm still pretty convinced was a troll
This is my feeling as well. Just someone who stirs up- trouble then likes to call foul when he gets called on it. Also he is for sure the same user as ryanhashton, who I am convinced did not come here to participate on the board but to cause trouble.
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo
Listen Chumley, the only problem I had with you at any point was your obstinate refusal to understand that the word "jam" or the act of "jamming" meant that any act associated with those two was necessarily a "jamband." I have a hard time ignoring statements, arguments or debates that are poorly formed an contain no logic. For instance, at one point, you mentioned that of course the Allman Brothers are a jamband (which is true), because they have a song called "Mountain JAM!" And it's 30 minutes long! By that logic, the Hold Steady are a jamband (they have a song called "Positive Jam!") and so are Pearl Jam (OMG!). It's lazy thinking, plain and simple. If this board has a purpose, outside of the general "help me plan for Bonnaroo," it's the discussion and debate of music. When those discussions and debates become cluttered, foolish, or just decline in quality, it's irritating.
All that is true, but it doesn't make him a troll! There are people who are regular, long term members that could be defined as troll quicker than this guy could!

He's not Ryan Ashton. And what makes what he is doing any different that so many others on here?
^Well obviously I can not prove he is the same guy. However this account started two days after rhashton was banned. This guy has the exact same spelling and grammar issues and the same mo of pissing people off then whining about how negative everyone is. If he is not he gets my apology, but I would literally bet twenty dollars it is the exact same person, and a further twenty that person either has/had an inforoo account before.
Could someone give me the proper definition of troll? That way I could make a better determination in my mind on who is a troll and who is not. My day would go much smoother then.

Yeah me too!!!
I think the first rule is that a troll must have just created his/her account. If you have been a member for a while then you cant be a troll....Your a troll hunter then!

Wrong. bburton has been around a long time, and he is a troll.

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion

Cave-trolls' heights can range from 11 to 19 feet. They retain dark-yellow skin with tinted blue hues and purple eyes. Their blood is black in color, and very hot. Their hides cannot be pierced by normal swords, and remain hard to pierce even when confronted by Elven blades.
Cave-trolls are unintelligent creatures. They use their sense of smell more often than sight, generally being brought into combat by a chain around their neck, led along by a goblin tamer. In combat, Cave-trolls usually kill the figures that foolishly get too close to them, friend or foe, strategy unimportant. Cave-trolls, of all the types of trolls, are fairly tall in stature; taller being trolls from Mordor.
Cave-trolls are omnivores, eating both meat and plants. Usually these trolls live with groups of goblins and fight alongside them or in groups of two or three in small caves. They are used by the armies of Sauron (though Sauron would forego these trolls in favor of Olog-hai, a stronger and smarter Troll that could move in the sunlight without turning into stone). It is known that Cave-trolls turn into stone when exposed to direct sunligh
