So just a couple of things. I am glad this stuff was worked out as well. I dont WANT anyone banned, but I want a cohesive community thats helpful and friendly, not snarky and spiteful. Noobs should be welcome and helped. not ridiculed and ran off!
Adam is around a lot more than you guys think. When he post in the pres hall, you cant see that on his recent post, only the mods can. He keeps us informed of his expectations and lets us know when he thinks we have gone to far (I have gotten scolded by Adam before, can yall believe that???)
Anyway, I know I have grown a bit more hard over the years on here (just a bit!) I will try to tone it down myself! The bus trip smackdown was pretty OK though, wasn't it?
CKS and Aqdrunk both deserve a co-award for Mods of the Year in my opinion!
Everyone experiences music differently. To say that something is subjectively wrong with live music is to also say that you are more than just your credentials or experience. It says that you are above whatever it is that you see as being the standard. Breaking everything down critically to the point where you are above every matter looking down on it only isolates you and makes you look foolish.
Could a moderator please explain to me why awolfatthedoor, Curteebee, and others are still banned from Inforoo? Was it done strictly for participating in the IRC channel, or are there other circumstance of which I am unaware?
I'm okay with one happening, I am not okay with the other happening.
I would like to note that if someone cannot explain and take responsibility for their actions, they are probably actions which should not have been taken in the first place.
When you don't provide answers, mods, we have no choice but to assume that shenanigans are afoot.
