Its a hockey night in the Burgh! Excited to watch the Crapitals series play out as well as the Blackhawks
Haha good luck. You don't got the Kid to cry mommy to the referees. But I will admit, I will show respect for your team and pull for y'all against Tampa because it will be sweet when we send your asses packin.
The score was close but the Capitals really controlled the offensive zone and controlled possession. Both teams were good on the penalty kill. So the only good thing I saw in the Rangers was Lundqvist, which I expected. His glove side was on point, it finally took a Semin slap shot on the stick side to end the game in OT.New York fans can laud Lundqvist, but if you expect that performance every night. It just won't happen.
On a side not, good job Buffalo in beating Philly. Keep it up.
Didn't they have a 5-3 as well, what happened there?
Yeah, they blew it big time. They have a huge problem where everyone cycles around the puck and shoots from the outside but no one is ever in front of the net to get the rebounds.
So stressed last night. Comcast switched to a different game at 10:00. Four minutes left in a one-goal playoff game and I'm getting a West Coast pregame show? Grrrrrr.
I watch part of the Ducks/Preds game last night, that broadcast was terrible. I think it was the Preds feed. The cameras felt a million miles from the ice.
^^ Was it the pregame for the Ducks/Preds? GO PREDS!!
Might've been. Everything is kind of a haze of me trying to find an alternate feed!
Today's Sabres/Flyers game is only available as Pay Per View for me. Not sure why but $20 is pretty steep for a first round game two. Just listening to WGR online instead.
I forget the name of the website that I used to use for streaming hockey games that were "out of area", but it worked really well. If I can find it, I will post it.
I normally use ATDHE.net for football but the picture tends to be too fuzzy to enjoy hockey.
Edit: lol, I just went to see how the picture was and was met by a "Seized by the Department of Homeland Security" screen. So I don't recommend that one anymore!
A bit disappointed that the Sabres didn't pull this one off but I'll take a 1-1 split going into two games back in Buffalo. They really can't play much sloppier, right? (Knocks on wood...)
I don't think either team could take more penalties than they did today, either. That was a strange game, but entertaining. Coming back to Buffalo 1-1 is about what should have been expected. It's going to be a long series.
Go Sabres!
Also, it's atdhenet.tv now, but it's mostly soccer.
When Bob is on, I'd take him over Boucher. But Bob has been showing his weaker side lately, so I think they'll keep Boosh for game three and play it from there. Someone also told me today that they heard Pronger will be back in game four. Not sure where, though.
For some reason I find that absolutely hilarious. Hopefully Boosh will play great and we won't see Leighton, but if we do we know he can play well in the play-offs.
