Your right he has been playing extremely well but the playoffs are always a different beast. Miller is hands down one of the best in the game. Hopefully Enroth can continue to play well in Miller's absence, who knows maybe he can pull a Halak.
Yeah, the Sabres haven't had a solid back up since Marty Biron. Lalime has been 9-26-5 in three seasons in Buffalo. Enroth is 7-3-2 in two seasons (4-0-1 in the last five).
Not to say that he's gonna bump Miller off as starter but Enroth really gives the team an edge that they've lacked in the last few years.
Enroth has looked really solid for y'all. Pretty great backup when you have Vezina-winning Miller. If I was a Sabres fan, i'd be pretty happy. Okay now I need a shout out to my home team, some important things happened tonight. The Caps beat the Leaves tonight giving us homefield advantage for now. Clinched the Southeast. And Ovie joined the ranks of Gretzky, Lemieux, and Yzerman as youngest to reach 300 goals. I'm pumped to be a Caps fan. The area needs this.
I don't know how I didn't find this thread earlier... I wish Flyers weren't looking like shit though so it's probably for the best that my profane rants last night were not on here.
Not having Pronger and Briere is no excuse... they look like crap.
Ya after such a great start to the season its a shame the Flyers are sliding now. Let's just hope it has been a matter of effort and they can turn it back on come playoff time.

Yeah the consensus on sports radio here is that they would be the best team for the Habs to play in the first round. Seeing as the last 2 times Montreal have met Philli in the playoffs they've killed us I don't know if I agree.
Flyers are a great comeback team. Nothing kicks those guys into gear like a run of shitty games. Hopefully they can finish these last two decently and get their act together for the playoffs.

True that it's not an excuse, but their defense is a lot better with Pronger in than without. The bigger question, as always seems to be the case with Philly, is how is their goaltending going to hold up? They're likely going against Price, Lundqvist, or Miller in the first round, which is a big disadvantage in all 3 series.
I'm really hoping that Buffalo gets them or Boston in the first round, but more because I can't stand either of those teams than if I think they can win. Hatred in the playoffs just makes it a lot more fun.

Go Sabres!
I have confidence in Bob. I know he's had a few off games recently, but he is one of the most solid rookie goalies I have ever seen. That kid is seriously going places. Last time we played the Penguins, even though we lost, we would have lost by way worse if Boucher was in goal. He saved 30 of the 31 shots from the Pens. I'd say as long as Bobrovsky doesn't crack under playoff pressure, goaltending is the least of our worries.
