As I stated in another over 40 thread, Bonnaroo has only existed during the decade of my 40's. I attended the 1st in '02 at the age of 40 and now, 10 years later, I'm still going at 49. Roo is one of the few constants of my 40's.

Count this 49 yo rocker into this meet up...Gives me a reason to let my 21 year old brother wander off on his own...Yes, I am 49 and he is 21...His first festival, and his mother (same dad, different moms) has threatened to remove my face if anything happens to him...so I might need an old geezer get away

I'm in for an older-people meet up. If someone wants to organize this thing, my 49 year old body is in! If someone take the lead and gives their location once they are there, I'll stop by for a "hey". See you soon
maybe we need a thread for Rooers over 40 in GA? or Rooers over 40 with offspring in tow?
Yes, I'm hanging in GA - Yes, I have 2 kids, some of their friends and heaven knows who else in my conglomerate party. Makes moving my butt to TA, which I'd love to do, a near impossibility...
Last year I spent most of my time solo. I've since met a wonderful few from here, some will be in TO and some in VIP. but, as much as I love my solitude, really don't want to spend that much time alone this year. My kids have for the most part great taste in music, but we still differ on what to see most of the time.
I can party with the best, or should I say worst, of them...so if you can keep up with me (haha) let's hang out!
