AEG (on facebook) has posted that they have a big announcement for Atlanta on Monday. I am hoping to Flying Spaghetti Monster that the announcement is Prince.
apc.
A Perfect Circle? I hope not, they said big... I'm hopeful.
Not much to add to the other reviews posted. I went to the Greenville show Monday. When we got our $20 tickets scanned in as we walked in the door, we were told they had been upgraded and to go over to a side table to pick them up. We were given tickets with a $327 face value and on the 10th row, near the drummer. Incredible show, the only people I have seen with that much control over a crowd at a show is Bono and Bruce. Loved the setlist. Just a fantastic show. Now I am getting greedy and hoping he comes to Atlanta or Birmingham soon.

So is there any rhyme or reason to how Prince tours? I'm not a supre fan like some of you guys. I'm just a country boy that grew up with a dream. And that dream was seeing Prince.
I had a question for your guys that have seen the Prince tour.
I will likely get to catch the first night of the upcoming LA run when I'm out there for Coachella. Where are the best places to sit for the show? Is it truely in the round, meaning anywhere is about equal, or is it partly in the round but with there being a definite front and back?
Any advice would be appreciated. Very psyched for this show after reading the reviews in this thread.

Well, his stage is over 5 feet off the ground, I'd say, so I'd say if you're on the floor your vantage point isn't too great. I'd say the best are the closest to the stage seats that are leveled. I was on the right side of the stage, 15 rows up and I was still only 30 feet or so away and my view was perfect of the whole stage.
But, if you get floor seats, it looks to me that the only ones really worth it would be the ones immediately beside the stage. The other ones in front and behind the stage don't have as good a view as the other, cheaper seats in the house, and don't look as intimate as the seats right beside the stage on the floor, likely the most expensive seats. These are the people that get called up on stage.
"So when Prince declared victory and the house lights went up, over half of the crowd headed for the parking lot, sated. The fans who stuck around? After waiting 15 minutes, they got four additional encores: 11 songs that took the show way past midnight."
If you have a Demonoid.me account, you can find video of all of these Carolina shows... all except for Columbia . Cool, still. The uploader has been upping Welcome 2 America videos from the start last December, and most of the shows are up.
I'm still praying a video from Columbia shows up. I tried taping with the opener, but my microphone wouldn't handle it.

It's his 2nd time in MTL in less than a year. Much bigger venue this time however so I should be able to get tickets. I suspect they may add a 2nd MTL date as well.
