Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
going to make it on buying tickets from scalpers. In years past I have always bought tickets and bracelets from scalpers, someone with an extra ticket, or someone who gets bracelets who land meets up with the bonnaroo land.
VIP had RFID last year, I sold one to someone on here, you just have the bracelet instead of the ticket. Seeing how they scan the tag upon entering, I would be a little more cautious about buying from scalpers on the side of the road.
I don't think it will really change that, but it will prevent people from getting in with fake wristbands. I mean, they're going to mail out these bracelets instead of tickets, so when you buy from a scalper, they'll just give you the bracelet instead.

I thought I seen in another thread somewhere that each bracelet is made for the person buying it? There were people talking about putting your money in an account so you don't have to carry around cash all day and you could just scan your bracelet to buy stuff and it would debit your account? So how do people sync up there accounts with there bracelet? Im confused witch I can get very easily.

I haven't seen a Bonnaroo related source saying that you will be able to link your bracelet to a bank account. I think that was just general chatter on the boards. I doubt that it will be possible this year. The RFID bracelets are in place to prevent fake bracelets from being used to gain entry. It should be more efficient for getting people into the festival and saves paper/printer costs since they don't have to print up 80,000 tickets.
I have listended to you moan and groan and complain for almost 6 years about people breaking rules on this forum. You cry about things as meaningless as duplicate threads or a thread being in the wrong forum. Then, on top of that, you bithc and moan that people just get away with everything and that we do nothing to stop it.
(Which you know is bullshit, cause anytime you PMme, I try to address the problem)
Now, here we have YOU, of all people, Mr. perfect, Mr rules, not only putting up a pornographic avatar (which, by the way, shows your 29 years real nice there chief!), but then using IP proxies to circumvent the ban.
Hey pot (everyone on the board) meet Juggs, he's a kettle and its black!!!!
You dont really think that I think we can keep people banned do you? You didnt REALLY think that was a clever shot there, did you?
People like you CAN'T stay away from message boards, you NEED this attention from all of these people.
It's the same reason you dont show up to the brunch. You dont have the BALLS to says the things you say on this board, and then show your face to the people you say it to.
Hell, even No Depression came to the brunch last year.
I knew you would be back before this morning when I banned you last night. Are ya proud of yourself? You have proven that you can beat a proboards ban. Good job there Skippy!!! You're quite the brain.....
Simple fact is, as I have told so many other people. It take one click of the mouse to ban. It takes you a whole lot more than that to set up dupe accounts. So, you can continue to put in all that time and effort creating account over and over, or, you can wait out your one week ban, have your old account back, and go back to being the pompous asshle you have always been, minus the pornography.
Now, create another account (which by the time you read this, I am SURE you will already have another created) and let me know if the sparkles with ya.....

UHH SO ABOUT THOSE WRISTBANDS.... ;D
(Damn, I miss all the good stuff too!)
But anyway, I'm hoping/assuming the RFID wristbands won't affect being able to resell tickets at all. I figure they didn't announce that they would be arphids until after some people had already bought tickets - there are probably a lot of people who went ahead and bought their tickets on the assumption that if anything happened and they couldn't go, they would be able to sell/give away their ticket. I know that's not SP/ACE's problem if anyone gets stuck with a ticket, but still I hope they would take it into consideration. But who knows.
If I had to guess, though, I would say it'll still be possible to buy tickets from StubHub or Craigslist or whatever. Just be wary as always, the RFIDs should make the tickets harder to fake so I suppose it's more important than ever to make sure you're getting a real ticket.
Man, it sure seems like some of you guys will just side with whoever gets the loudest and angriest. Like the mobs in Huck Finn or something...
I think someone who's as respected on this board as Juggs is should've at least gotten a warning. Yeah, I'm sure he knew the avatar was gonna piss off the mods, but still...it's not like he has a history of breaking the rules. I mean, to me, Juggs is a pretty valuable member of this community (if you can call it such). Oh, well, it's only for a week, so it doesn't matter anyway. Just sayin'.

Juggs always advocated people being punished for transgressions. Maybe you should stick to modding the board where you are a moderator.
Oh, believe me, Jess, I'm definitely not trying to moderate these boards. But I'm still allowed to post and voice my opinion here. I'm never going to not do that.
Also, believe it or not, the "other" board, the one you're referring to, doesn't need to be modded much, believe it or not I like that about it.
