They were in my top three from Lollapalooza 2010. They were amazingly fun, and I'm expecting the same, if not bigger at Roo. They are one of those groups that totally appreciate the crowd, and the more excited and into it the crowd gets, the same goes for them.

I fuckin love this band. I'm a little surprised by how much i love them.. Matt's vocals sound VERY pop-punk, which I normally hate. But somehow the vocals work so well with the beats. It looks like they're having as much fun as the audience when they play. I think this will definitely be one of the funnest shows this year
We caught them last year at The Orange Peel and the energy was INSANE. It was an all age show (I think - I do remember a lot of younger people being there) and that may have contributed to it, but the Peel was bouncing.

I saw them a couple months ago on a whim. They were AMAZING! Soooooooooo much energy. I've never seen a crowd that into a show. At one point Kim stood (yes stood) on the crowd while leading a rendition of "New York" (where they're from). I can't really listen to their studio stuff very often, but they're live show is something to not miss.

I am so excited to see these guys in a huge festival setting. i saw them at siren fest on coney island last summerand it was great and everytime i have seen them in a venue they have been awesome. also they are up for a Performing Woodie, an award from MTV. www.mtv.com/ontv/woodieawards/2011/performing-woodie/ i voted for them and if you have seen them and are so inclined go for it!
^^They were alright at Siren... even tho Siren was a bust last year. Best set I've seen them do was at Pop Montreal. They followed up with a DJ set at a club a block down the street which was just as good as their live set.

I saw Matt & Kim last May at Bamboozle. I had been standing there waiting for MGMT literally for over four hours so I was really close to the stage and at the time they came on I was sort of like .."What the hell is this ..Like is this a serious band?" Haha Not really my style of music, but it was really fun and there were balloons and everyone was super happy so I'll probably try to see them again at Roo

Unless there's a horrible conflict, I will be trying to find a nice spot for Matt and Kim's set on the farm. Love these guys, and the first time I saw them they put on a heck of a show, and afterward Kim gave me a hug and signed a poster I'd just bought.

Saw them at a real tiny venue when they were in Phoenix last year. Best concert I saw all year, above things at Roo. SO much Energy. It was amazing. Kim crowd surfed at one point, they covered Biz Markie and The Final Countdown....it was spectacular.

Matt and Kim was super fun at Fader Fort and my 3rd favorite show at sxsw this year. Will try to post a couple videos and pictures later. There are a couple in the sxsw thread.
They're going to be opening for Blink 182 on a bunch of their tour dates this year. Weird.
i could see the cross over appeal in those fan bases. blink is one of the more successful punk pop bands, and matt & kim def has the pop appeal to them as well.
You know, I saw them at Siren a few years back and I just couldn't get into it. Although I was waiting through thier set for, what I think was, Broken Social Scene. However, I'm looking forward to this set. It'll be nice to have a lite buzz and jump around like a lunatic.

They are going to be a great way to start my day of seeing shows friday. Seeing them open their tour tonight in Brooklyn which is going to be indescribably awesome.
