Wow a lot of love for Modest Mouse on here! I like them quite a bit but when I saw them live (during the Johnny Marr period of 2007) they were very weak. I mean very disappointing. Is the consensus that this was probably just an off night when I saw them?
I absolutely LOVE Modest Mouse, but unfortunately, I've heard similar things about their live shows, that they're not all that. Too bad, because their studio work is f'ing incredible. The Moon and Antarctica is a top twenty album for sure.
MY TOP 10 WOULD BE.. QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, MOGWAI, YUCK, LIGHTNING BOLT, PRIESTESS, MODEST MOUSE, THE ROOTS, CEE LO, ROBERT RANDOLPH, AND LES SAVY FAV

I saw them last summer and they sounded pretty good, but I was extremely disappointed in their setlist, You're obviously not going to please everyone with that, though. They opened with Dramamine but that it was from their first, then nothing from Lonesome Crowded West and maybe 3 songs from M & A. The thing is I saw them at Summerfest, so they probably geared their set more toward the casual fan just stopping by for a couple songs.
Foster the People Modest Mouse ......Jimi Hendrix Super Jam with Eric Clapton
Clapton covering Hendrix would be the end all be all. Hell, I would love to see Clapton any year. He should just forget Crossroads and come to Bonnaroo, just once.
Other notable acts Sphongletron needs to make a visit. That setpiece is insane. Metallica, so they can play Orion at the massive field. I swear to god, Cliff Burton would rain thunder to show his love. God bless his soul. Rodrigo Y Gabriela. I wasn't able to see their '09 Roo due to crappy roommates and financial issues. Dredg. Unique and beautiful music. Outkast, eventually. I am a rock kinda guy but these guys made me appreciate the fine stylings of hip hop.
Hank Williams III and or Split Lip Rayfield, been wanting these two for a few years now.
Yeah, its a mystery to me why Hank III has never made an appearance at Roo. He lives/works close by and plays consistently badass live sets. My other headscratcher is Mike Patton. I've been waiting 10 years to see some form of these guys on the Farm. Do you they have something against playing huge hippiefests?
Ben Harper has a gap in his tour and a new album so I'm hoping he'll be there.
Galactic should be a lock.
And I just really want Robert Randolph to be there.
+1
Those 3 should be there every year actually. When they are on the farm it's a given they will be doing sit-ins with whoever they can. How sweet would a steel guitar superjam be with Harper and Randolph? And Stanton Moore on the drums
This is how I feel everyday no announcement is made. Correction: With exception of yesterday's useless announcement about ice cream.
it's nice of them to let us know about the beer, ice cream and clean hair while waiting to give us such trivial info as what additional Artists and Comedians we can expect to see this year
