In response to a "when are the additions coming?" on their fb page: Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival: Your patience will be rewarded, grasshopper.
Not much but could mean some huge adds.
Huge adds are relative to each person. To some people "Huge adds" are Radiohead and David Bowie. To others it's OFWGKTA and Umphrey's.
They've been saying things like that on other posts. Someone speculated that Radiohead's big news on Monday could have something to do with it but I'm still in the camp of "Radiohead will not be at Roo 2011". We'll see.
I think its exciting to see who gets added; however, I'm not banking on one of the bands being a must see for me. If there were no additions I would be pretty happy with the current line-up despite what some are saying is bad.
Yeah, so has Chancellor Warhol. That's pretty ballsy of COS to say two bands are official when Bonnaroo hasn't announced anything about them. We'll see if they stick their foot in their mouth.

^ yea I looked at the line-up again and as it stands there are already more bands I'm interested in seeing than it is possible to see over the Roo weekend. I mean going hard all weekend you can see about 25 full sets I would say and I am mildly to very interested in about 40 acts already
I'm buying a ticket regardless, but I really need these additions to start rolling in to get me off my ass and get my GA pass already. I've said it in other threads, but bands like Opeth and Lil' Wayne and Arcade Fire being there already does it for me, but if OFWGKTA, Bright Eyes, Death Cab, A Perfect Circle, etc. get added, it would really push it over the top for me.
Maybe that's what they're trying to do with the additions. Seems like everything this year has been late, but worth the longer wait. I'm excited. I don't expect a Radiohead or Prince to be added, but I think some good "names" will be announced. It's the 10th anniversary, it's going to get stacked, I think.
Yeah lets not get our hopes up, remember when Phish and Radiohead were suppose to play? OR Daft Punk? Rumors tend to give us musical boners then they are chopped off when they arent true
They are obviously working on something good or else they would have released the additions already.
this kind of thinking has lead to disappointment in the past.
Seriously... I thought before the lineup dropped it was going to be so much better because "it's Roo ten it has to be epic!" but I was wrong and dissapointed...Don't expect too much its not worth the let down
ARGGG, I just got out of class and saw this. My brain is a pile of jello now
Well, thanks for keeping your word anyway.
In all seriousness, though, the waiting is killing me (and obviously a gajillion others here). I don't care WHO gets added, just any name I recognize will do. Even Creed. That would at least give me a chance to nap.
