So the last thing on the lineup is what excites me the most. What all can we expect? I can not believe they booked BS and that is all Neil will do on the farm. Here are a couple of the obvious ones off the top of my head.
Allison Krauss and Robert Plant
Neil and ????
Warren Haynes and Greg Allman
Dr John, and whoever he feels like, (but I bet Bela will be involved somehow.)
I would expect to see a lot of folks at Bruce Hornsby's show as well.

I'm telling you.... don't miss that Panic set. You could literally see at least 3 huge sit-ins during the set. Would love to see Neil Young & Panic on Cortez or Bootsy come out for Red Hot Mama. Realistically though, Dr. John & the boys may rip Guilded Splinters a new one. He sat in with them during the Halloween run in NOLA last year & it was top notch.

I would expect quite a few sit ins at the panic set for sure. warren haynes played maggot brain and come together with them in 05 the first night, and the second had TONS of guests. the dickinsons, robert randolph, bob weir, herbie hancock.
and warren haynes plays with pretty much anyone who will let him. im sure he will sit in with gregg for some allman's tunes.
and the fact that its gonna be del mccoury with the preservation hall jazz band has me interested. bluegrass and classic new orleans horns?
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
Loretta Lynn, Karen Elson, and Wanda Jackson are all at Bonnaroo.
Jack White will show up somewhere. Bet on it.
I would cry if we could get some Neil/MMJ collaboration.
I think it's obvious Pres. Hall Jazz band will do something with MMJ or Jim James will do something with their show.
Also there is no Galactic listed yet, and they confirmed themselves to Meg. Plus Stanton pretty much confirmed GAT as well the other day.
Do you have a link confirming Galactic? I mean they have played almost every other year, but I want confirmation. Also, GAT would be sweet
I love the excitement everyone is getting from the lineup release. I really do. But don't get your hopes up on guest appearances. Seems like everyone wants their favorite band to play with their second favorite band, with their 3rd favorite artist filling in. When none of it happens they are dissapointed. Alot of this stuff depends on the schedule of the festival and the artists. Ah screw it, you guys are right. I want WSP w/ Neil Young and Robert Plant on vocals, the Meters on horns, and Claypool/Warren Haynes. Bonnaroo!!!

Warren will sit in for at least a song, guaranteed.
I expect Gregg Allman to be brought out like they did Bob Weir.
Dr. John is almost a lock, and I can't wait. Bootsy too.
Bela Fleck or Jeff Coffin is another high possibility.
Yeah Allman Brothers and WSP toured together in 2009, and every night Greg and/or Warren would sit in for a couple of songs. So its probable. I expect Bela Fleck to be all over the farm like always. Him and Jerry Douglas play really well together so that would be cool.
