I am in a last minute panic. Willow lost vacuum in the break booster.
For those of you who don't know what the vacuum assist break booster does, it basiclly creates the break pressure needed to stop something that heavy. Sat morning I will pick up a used one I found today and me and Visa will be working like hell to repair the problem.
This bus has been a labor of love. I did everything to it myself while being told what a stupid idea it was. I never thought of it as stupid and feel the same way Ken did about Furthur, that it causes people to smile and holds healing properties. Willow, like Furthur, is for everyone to enjoy and I will do everything in my power to have her there at bonnaroo weds night. Your comments have driven and inspired me, your praise has humbled me, your good vibes will complete the work.

Let me be the first to say good luck you you Capt. I know what car troubles can be like, though not bus troubles. If Im lucky enough to see that big, psychadelic beauty pull into Roo, I will be sure to say hello and congratulations on the effort! Good luck again and see you down there
good luck captain!!......god's speed to you......i cant wait to hang out and watch the bus and hear some dead tunes........ahhhh what a blissful event this is going to be......
Good luck, Capt -- you've come so far and I have no doubt that you and your wife and Willow will be at Camp Dreadlocks to greet us all come FRiday morning. Our enthusiasm to meet you will hopefully help buoy you through the last few hurdles.

It's you and all the folks I'm looking forward to meeting - not their wheels. You'll get hugs, love, good vibes whether you show up in Willow, in an AstroVan or whatever! So best of luck getting the bus on the road, just make sure you and your wife get your butts to Bonnaroo safely and in one piece.
It's like the drum on the fire wall right. I'm thinking of the cars I've worked on. I know what it is but is that more or less harder to replace on a bus. I'm pulling for ya. I know what a pain a broke car is. Seeing as how you rebuilt a clutch I'm thinking it's a matter of getting the part and enough time to throw it in. You just seem to be having a bad week. Just be carful..
I know more people have read this, send this man some love.
Capt. I'm sure with out a doubt, 110% positive that you will make it to the Roo with bus intact. How do I know this.... Because good karma vibes will get anything done. so here's to you.[glow=green,2,300]good vibes[/glow]

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!
I picked up the part which sells for a little over 1000 bucks for 50 buck and my buddy Pete who owns the wrecker service and he installed it and got it all fixed perfictly. I asked him how much I owe him for the job and he said, "you ain't got to pay me, I just want to see it go down the road".
Thanks again for the vibes and we will see you all at wall mart in 4 days.

Yea, it had to be karma. I started thinking about why something like that would happen and then I thought, "what if the breaks went dead on one of those mountains". I guess everything happens for a reason.
