I love the small amount of Atmosphere that i've heard the past few years. Any suggestions for albums or mixtapes based on songs that he would likely play or plays a lot of?

I would definitely listen to God Loves Ugly and When Life Gives you Lemons..., and probably should check out Seven's Travels. There is a new album coming out in April, so I'd get that when it comes out.

I missed that Orlando show! I lived there at the time and no one wanted to go with me so i decided not to go. And I will regret that decision up until the moment I get to see him at Bonnaroo.
And am I the only one who thinks Life gives you lemons was the best atmosphere album? Slug is a fantastic storyteller and it comes out so well in that album

An old friend made me a mix CD waaayyy back with some Atmosphere. And while I liked it, I only recently rediscovered this CD after a few years. Suggestions will be awesome.
One of my favorite freestyle sessions. RIP Eyedea.
Slug is a ridiculously talented freestylers. And most of what he brings to the table is off the dome. When people bring the debate of true freestyle vs. writtens, you'd be hard pressed to find Slug use material he's said previously on tracks and, more impressively, you can't find many of them on future tracks. Along with Juice, Supernatural, Sage Francis, and a select few notable others, Slug is pretty pure when it comes to frees.
Some will say God Loves Ugly, I would say Seven's Travels because that is when I started listening to them. Saw them at Warped Tour in '03 and loved em, can't wait to see them again 8 years later!
It's absolutely clear that you must start with the Lucy Ford EP. NFQ

They were excellent, but I liked their show I saw in Cinci more... then again his Cincinnati shows are notoriously intense and Mr. Dibbs and Slug served us beer after.
Pretty good spot too!
PS, girl in the pink shirt with pretty smile behind me who we carried up from the heat... I hope you're okay! If you read this, say hey!
LOVED this show. Instantly became my favorite set of the weekend. Unfortunately, I saw MMJ just hours later haha
I think I already know the answer to this, but in your opinion do you think it would be worth it for me to miss the beginning of My Morning Jacket to catch some of Atmosphere at Lollapalooza? Atmosphere is 7:30-8:30.. MMJ starts at 8:00. And the stages are almost a mile apart Thinking of staying for first 30 min then hauling ass to MMJ

Its going to be hard to leave Atmosphere. They put on a great show at Roo, the band was tight, Slug was on point with his delivery, good setlist. No complaints at all about that show, one of my favorites from the weekend. He had a great turn out, too, really packed 'em in.

Haha this is one of the conflicts I saw that made me happy I didn't go to Lollapalooza. That's really tough. MMJ was my single favorite show at Bonnaroo, but Atmosphere was so good too. And I would say see some of Atmosphere before seeing MMJ, but with them being so far away, it seems like it would barely be worth it, and you'd just end up seeing very little of Atmosphere, and being really far back from MMJ. You might end up not being able to enjoy either set. I don't man, that's tough...
so atmosphere was one of the few artists that i had not heard anything from at all upon watching their set, i was very pleasantly suprised with how good they were. they definitely have another fan after checking them out at bonnaroo.

Atmosphere announced an after-show. Problem solved.
