Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This will be my 1st year at Bonnaroo and a friend told me that there are lineups not only to get into the festival site every day, but separate lineups/checks etc to each individual stage in the main festival area? Is this true? As that seems like a really ineffective way to get things done... I've been to several other large summer festivals in the US and UK and none operate like this.

Nope, once you are in Centeroo you are in. You can go from stage to stage freely. It's just like every other festival. There is a car check, then a gate check and then you are free to roam.
There are two main entrances into Centeroo (the main festival grounds with all the music). One by the Bonnaroo arch, and one by the ferris wheel. There is a third entrance that you can use sometimes if you are camped in the 007 campgrounds area. This is the VIP entrance I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that opens up on the far side of the main (What) stage.
The third entrance is "usually" open by noon on Fri/Sat/Sun and closes sometime after the main stage headliner. It is not open on Thursday. However the gate does not always open on time.
I believe the third entrance that opens by the main stage area is only open when the main stage area is, unless you are VIP, then I'm pretty sure you get in that way any time.

That entrance isn't always open for VIP, and it sucks compared to the other entrance, they hassle you way more. I'd rather go through the VIP entrance by the arch and walk around. That entrance is money almost every time.
