I thought once someone, in possibly rumors, mentioned the idea of The Black Crows with Robert Plant, could cover the B and the R. A co-headliner ok'd by a rock god. Bore"to make a hole through" the the majesty of flight, a Led Zeppelin would sink, and though black crows can fly they are seen as unlucky.
BoRe = Box Office Records? There are various ways to pick a champion; total gross, biggest weekend, worldwide and domestic comparisons, biggest single day, etc. etc. Divine intervention might put opening during a holiday weekend... Vampire Weekend?

i haven't a clue on this one but my wish would be tool and APC haha... if you bore a hole you usually have to use a tool and you make a perfect circle.
Bonnaroo Wish 2011 Wish List.. Going Big lol... F&TM, Robyn, La Roux, of Montreal, Janelle Monae, Sia, M.I.A., Girl Talk, Daft Punk, Animal Collective, Radiohead, The xx (but prolly not), iamamiwhoami (would be a dream), Yeasayer, Grizzly Bear... perhaps more but that would be greedy haha
This is probably not right, but there is a band called DOM with a new cd called sun bronzed greek gods... I guess if you added BoRe to DOM you would get boredom.
Are the clues limited to revealing musicians, or could the clues indicate an event also? I couldn't help but think about Halo when he called out the B and R being capitalized. A war of champions fits well (tournament, Spartans/Elites, etc), and divine intervention could be a reference to the Great Journey. Sorry if that just seems like reaching...
From one Bonnaroo Reunion to another, a band of legends that won't play together, brought together for a one off by ac/superfly. That's what I see when I read it. Pretty sure it's not right but may be a different thought process. dreams of LZ or PF...

Boy joining a clue in it's seventh page is sooo much better than posting an opinion and letting the trolls eat it.
Personally, I think we should ignore the BoRe part and start focusing more on the champions part and divine intervention.
A war among champions makes me think that the band members are from different cultures. Divine intervention could be the person in charge and he/she could be a reverend of some sort, or a religious figure?

I think it is time for a human sacrifice we need a Roo virgin and quick. I have been 6 times so I am a little worn out and used up from the Tennessee heat. We neeed a fresh young'n from Alaska preferably of Eskimo blood. The heat has never affected them the way it does us. Anyone from Anchorage or above that has never been to roo but would like to help solve this clue PM me. I promise to use something to knock you out before we read your guts like it was done in the olden days of soothesayers and mystics.

Okay, "From one BoRe to another" -for right now I'm reading that as going from one thing to a similar thing, possibly tunnel, gauge, gun, hole, bored or boring, drill, needle...etc...
"A war rages amongst champions"- Thinking titans, clash, warriors, though it could be less physical warfare like debate or race. Conflict perhaps.
"we're calling for divine intervention" - a miracle is divine intervention but calling for a miracle is prayer. Praying, ritual, mass or ceremony maybe.

k sorry I know you guys said you were gonna get away from the BoRe part and focus on the rest of the clue, but I found this mildly interesting and it might be of assistance....
when I read BoRe with the capitalization the way it is, I read is as Bo-Ray....just me? maybe...

What about Janelle Monae? Can't figure out the 'BoRe' part, of course - however her concept album(s) are about a war of sorts with a 'messianic android' coming to the rescue.
