More importantly, Megafaun. Pretty excited about this one.
Was he always a part of Megafaun or did he just used to look REALLY different. Every picture I've ever looked at of that band kept convincing me that I made up that he was in that band. I'm also only vaguely familiar with their music, so that probably has something to do with it. Also why I just said Sylvan Esso (the duo I have significantly more exposure to).

He was but in all fairness, he was realllllllly late in the game. He also played in Decibully but I don't expect anyone remembers that. I was just joshing ya. I just love Megafaun.

Alabama Shakes frontwoman extraordinaire Brittany Howard has dropped a new album under her Thunderbitch side project. The group — which also features members of Fly Golden Eagle and Clear Plastic Masks — surfaced back in 2012, but this self-titled effort marks their first proper full-length release.
Among the 10 tracks included are “Leather Jacket”, “I Just Wanna Rock n Roll” (which we know Howard can do, no problem), and “Wild Child”. It also includes the band’s early cuts “I Don’t Care” and “My Baby Is My Guitar”.
Stream the album in full via Thunderbitch’s official website; it’s also available for purchase here.
Below, watch a trailer for the release.
Countdown until rumors of Alabama Shakes breaking up can begin.
