they're not as electrifying as they use to be. the songs are not as good and they rely more on the stage show. it's still a good show though.

they were my #1 favorite band all through high school but this will be my first time seeing them. i drove cross state to see them during the black holes tour and they had quacking FOOD POISONING and the show got cancelled. i was so bummed. im in college now and theyre still a top 5 band for me but i really wish i could have seen them during high school.. would have been so much more magical
yea that was a great show. i saw them a few months before that at gwinnett arena at a 99x show with velvet revolver headlining and they owned it. didn't see them again until earlier this year and it was good but not near as great.
Nothing real to base it off of other than Maynard James Keenan was at the roo with Tool.
How about A Perfect Circle?
They'd be fun to see in a similar manner to N.I.N is 2009.
i don't know what to think about them getting back together. he's already half-assing it with tool these days. he's probably going to do the same with apc. just touring for the money.
"All in all, the creative act is not performed by the artist alone.. the spectator brings the work in contact with the external world by deciphering and interpreting its inner qualifications and thus adds his contribution to the creative act." -- Marcel Duchamp
Maynard seems like a twat, and I don't think he even cares. Until he can start showing passion and appreciation for those that have made Tool one of the most important hard rock bands of the last 20 years, I could care less either.

Well now, I've got some advice for you, little Bishop. Before you point your finger, you should know that I'm the man. And if I'm the man, then you're the man, then he's the man as well, so you can POINT THAT FUCKING FINGER UP YOUR AAAAAAASSSSSS
(for the record, I'm with you--he doesn't care and he's always just so pissed off at everybody)
What really sucks is that the rest of Tool seem to want it and still work their asses off. All the while Maynard has his back to the crowd and never sings anything that would force him to work hard. I feel bad for the band; they've worked so hard for us and really seem like they want to keep doing so, but Maynard just won't have it. It's got to be frustrating.

this is depressing me muchly. I love tool. And I loooove maynard's voice. I just wish he wasn't such a douche

Fantastic line-up. But it's the 'please everyone on inforoo' lineup. Unfortunately it probably wouldn't out that way. Didn't you people learn anything last year?

I'm with this guy on thinking that Arcade Fire won't headline, but will play late night. Good call.
I'm pretty sure some form of the Dead will be there this year, though. They've played such a big role in making Bonnaroo what it is. Plus, it's been three years.
