How far r we? Were on 24 @ winchester highway overpass.
Get out. That line has a single cop at the front, and then a huge gap up to the line waiting for exit 114. Right now we're sitting in that line and trying to figure out if its a wait for the exit, or just waiting for 111 farther down.
Please update if you guys have any luck. I really want to get to the walmart so i can follow people on the backroads like i did last year
Ok, so we are in the search line right now. After passing by 114 on the eastbound lane, we waited for about an hour before we reached "Exit 112" which is really just a big hole cut in the fence on the interstate. Popo searches look pretty heavy.
We're at Walmart. What's the best way to get in from here?
Not sure if the westbound, side of the interstate entrance is open yet... if so I would try to hop back on 24 and head in that way.
Otherwise turn right out of the Walmart parking lot and turn left on Asbury, another left on Clifton Scott, left on Cornelison, and the nleft on new Bushy Branch. That'll get you there
Taken so long because they are checking every car. Looking at a video recording from 12am. They ask you to exit the car and they seem to be looking in every car. I will see you friday.

I'm sure it's been said a dozen time by now but eastbound was no better. We saw you guys lined up going the other way for 13 miles, but once you got to the exit you were in. We on the east bound side were effectively moving away from our destination all the while, meaning that once we got off the interstate at 127 we still had to backtrack all that distance to get to the festival grounds, which amounted to still another 4 hours of waiting in line on back roads. All told it took me over twice as long as it ever has to get to a site (7+ hours with no a/c).

It took me 8 hours this year and I was food poisoned while I was in line. The traffic is officially a problem, and Bonnaroo needs to do something about it or I think many fans will move on to other festivals.
By the way, if you were a line cutter, you can go f**k yourself.

^I also heard the same. Mud pits and whatnot? We took exit 127, it was a breeze last year and we had a decent location. This year we had to turn the opposite way, go all the way around the farm, almost get there, then be directed back to I-24 East where we had to find an open exit to get turned back around and put at the end of the line on 24W. Overall an ~11 hour wait. What a clusterfuck.
We arrived in Manchester at 3 Central with the intent of going in Wal Mart and leaving immediately. We sat on the interstate for about 4 hours, got placed even closer than last year (literally, a few yards closer) in Marty McFly . We had a 2 minute walk to Centeroo, a three minute walk in 09. We definitely lucked out. From my experience, you can get the best site if you make it in around 7-9 AM. Closest GA camp spots possible in 2 consecutive years by arriving the same time? Sounds like I've got a permanent strategy.
Also, when did they stop letting people into Walmart?

8 hours for me and it sucked... bad. I should've taken your advice Julie, about the alternate route. I'm never going in Thursday again. That shit was ridiculous.
