Pinkpop Festival (The Netherlands 11-13 June) are negotiating with the band for their festival. So they aren't booked to play that same weekend in Europe yet.
Considering a lot of bands are booked many months to years in advance unless a spot opens up or there was a kink in the negotiations, the fact that they are even negotiating for a show at the same time as Roo is indication they probably aren't playing this year.
And definitely not as a headliner like some have been calling for.
They could conceivably play the 10th or 11th (Friday or Saturday) at Roo and then head over to the Netherlands to play that festival on the 13th.
But, yeah, it's looking pretty unlikely that Arcade Fire will be at Roo Which begs the question...how did AC/SF drop the ball so badly on them? This year was the absolute perfect year for them to play their first Bonnaroo...Maybe AF were asked to play but were just already planning on being in Europe anyway. Oh, well.

"It's hard to say whether seeing Kellz backed by Jim James and his lion's mane hairdo or Billy Idol rocking out next to John Oates and his soul patch was weirder to watch. Let's just say both were beautifully bizarre sights to behold."
