does anyone know if you have a guest voucher and a G.A. ticket do you need a guest parking voucher to park in guest camping, or do you get the guest parking voucher at the holiday inn? the instructions are a bit confusing...
In order to drive your acr into the guest parking you need a ticket(complimentary or GA) a parking voucher to be exchanged for credentials and a guest parking voucher to be exchanged for a parking pass.
So that's why it's good to sell both passes and parking pass together.
Yes, in the package you should have a ticket. Probably a green and teal one. Plus a light blue ticket(ticket master looking ticket). If you have a car camping pass you'll also have a light green ticket. All of these need to be brought to the Holiday Inn. From my understanding you need all of these in order to drive into and stay in the guest camping.
a guest voucher only gets you a guest wristband. the guest wristband allows you to walk in/out of guest camping as much as you like, but it does not allow you to drive a car into guest camping. you will need a separate camping parking voucher for that. a lot of people don't realize that. it's a long walk from holiday inn into guest camping with all your camping gear. your best bet is to ask someone who has a parking pass if they can give you a ride. i've given plenty of rides before.
also... you can't "share" a parking pass or re-sell one because a Bonnaroo volunteer will walk out with you to your car and they will apply the parking pass sticker on your windshield. the sticker is made so that if you try to remove it, it falls apart. so... unless you are the real good McGyver type, you can't share a parking pass.
^^^ I did that as one of my volunteer shifts. But not at the holiday in. We were at a tent next to the walmart. I think we were dealing with vendors and not guests.
This is so crazy that no one can figure this stuff out.... So, I assume from that .jpg instructions sheet that you can't get into guest camping until Thursday after 10am? Has anyone ever gone in on Wednesday night, or has anyone ever had guest camping creds and been turned away from guest camping (because it's full). We wanted to try to roll in on Wednesday night to make sure we had a spot in Guest, but, it sounds like we can't get in until thursday.
The thing is you have to check in at the Holiday Inn. And if there are no staff there to give you your credentials then you aren't getting in. They aren't there around the clock. Their shift probably starts at 10am.
oh, very VERY thankful for what we have. I just know that it says that GA isn't really supposed to enter until Thurs. but, they start letting people in on Wed. night. Just wondering if this is the same type of situation.
I'm pretty sure we will be at the Holiday in right at 10 if not an hour before. Just because we are driving down with my sister and her friend and we are going to put their car in the GA car line at around 6am. So we might go before to hang out in the lobby and watch some of the Lobby TV and grab a bagel in the air conditioning.
I'm in the same position as the Original Poster. If i didn't receive a (apparently) green parking voucher in the mail... only 3 each of the GA and guest vouchers... I'm guessing I still have to go to the holiday in...
From there, do I have to still get in line to go in a GA entrance? To clarify a few things, I am the brother of one of the acts on Friday, this Monday I received a guest voucher and a GA ticket from his management company. So I guess that means no camping voucher for me. The main point of confusion is that I didn’t receive any kind of pamphlet or special directions, which may have been an error on the management company’s part, no big deal since the scan is on this thread. But then, after reading that scanned page a million times, I’m still confused. It says “IMPORTANT: must have all three (GA ticket, guest voucher, AND camping pass) to follow these directions. Well… I only have 2 of the three. What should I do. I realize I’m kind of whining because I assumed I would get into Guest Camping… but even if I have to camp GA, I’m still not sure of how to get my guest wristband… should I still head to the lobby of the hotel before I wait in line for GA camping? ANY help or advice would be appreciated, cause time is running out! Thanks in advance!
PS: I appreciate Landa321’s post, because it gives me some hope that maybe my friends and I can hitch a ride into the guest camping and set up a tent there… but of course that’s a stretch.
Scored Guest vouchers/tickets and camping for 200 a piece! So stoked right now.. although the 10am check-in does add a bit of challenge for our caravan plans.
Sonofelroy - don't quote me, but, I think that the scan is saying that to go down Campground Road you have to not only have your guest wristband and GA ticket, but, you also need to have a guest car pass. Last year, I had guest wristbands, but, no car/RV pass, so I didn't camp in guest camping (plus, I had to pick my wristband up in centeroo - which was strange). Since I didn't have a car pass, I couldn't drive into guest camping. But, I would have been able to pitch a tent there, I think.
Jellyphish - I appreciate the response. It seems like, at this point last year, you were in my position. It seems that Landa321’s post implies what you also did - If i get my tent in there, i can camp, i just can't bring a car. Which makes me want to get driven in there with a tent and some beers. But that seems a bit like a fantasy, and I'd have to go to the lobby in order to meet someone with a parking pass anyway.
They don't let you walk camping equipment through centeroo do they?
I doubt you will be able to walk any stuff through centeroo ... best bet would be to either try to get dropped off in guest camping (not sure if this is even possible) or find nice people with car passes at holiday inn to drive you and your stuff into guest camping. My boyfriend and I will have some room in our vehicle but I don't want to promise it to anyone at the moment... we'll probably just end up meeting some people at Holiday Inn that need to squeeze in.
