I'll probably be at GWAR and Danny Howells most of the time. If the Disco Biscuits didn't ever sing, and were just an instrumental band, I'd watch them.

I consider Deadmau5 a guilty pleasure, and his light show + music will be a good time, there is however no doubt I will be leaving early to see the biscuits rock til dawn.
I'm not sure but I'll say this much: he was REALLY quiet. Quiet enough that it was annoying - we could actually talk to each other only about 100 feet behind the tent and not have any problems hearing. We had to move up a lot.
Lunar Stage didn't help in that case, but it was really quite annoying.

I left after his set was over which was at 4 something I think, but I know it was around 90 minutes long. Apparently though later on he came out and played another whole set and kept playing encores until the stage people made him leave some time after the sun rose.

I agree with this. He was good, but it wasn't loud enough. I have listened to Deadmau5 louder in my car that it was when I was under the tent (at the back). I wanted to be able to feel the music, but couldn't.
I was also surprised and disappointed with the length of his set. I wanted it to be about 45 minutes to an hour longer.
I really think that he should have played at the lunar stage. I think that would have been a lot better. It was a much louder stage, and would have been the perfect place for him to play.

DEADMAU5 sucked and he didn't start till like 2:45..... dan d.. didnt end till like 2am.... and mau5 took forever to set up.... shit was stupid anyways...... saw three songs and left came back and about throw up.... after ten secs i wondered if the music was going anywhere and the lights was the same.... it all sucked.... no one in the tent would DANCE just bounced around like retards.... i would watch him change something and the crowd would go nuts for a few secs then die down..... it was like a art gallary........ and everyone acted like spun idiots.... pushing and running through a PACKED shoulder to shoulder crowd... after this leno i had to leave bonnaroo...... i walked around for HOURS trying to cailm down from seeing this douchy party...... this just capped a really bad bonnaroo...... left mid day sunday after cailming down... couldn't enjoy anything after this.... I waited FORVER just to get shoved by douchy kids who HAD to be at the front but couldnt get there but 5 min before the mau5 starts..... if you want up front show up early lenoheads!!!! and all they could say is i want the mau5.... leno was stupid and most people there acted retarded...
I was up front, it was loud enough (although bonnaroo has nothing on coachella's sahara tent) but it was awesome. Him coming out late and not playing long enough was a bummer but my group of friends had a blast, didn't notice the crowd behind us not dancing cause I was too busy enjoying myself and the performance.

I think This Tent had some sound issues this year in general (aside from the obvious noise bleed from the Lunar). Bassnectar was not loud enough either. I've seen him twice and his set was awesome and full of energy but This Tent did not bring the bass hard enough.

I was at the rail, almost center, for this. I was one of the guys playing chess while waiting for Dan Deacon.
Despite making the mistake of bringing a heavy backpack, keeping it at my feet, and worrying about it, and despite the assholes who pushed their way up front after Jay-Z and knocked me off the rail to about two rows of people back--I enjoyed myself thoroughly. So what if I don't have a broad taste or knowledge of EDM? So what if my form of dancing was only bobbing my head or something simple? I was having fun. If the way other people dance ruin your fun and make you have to insult others, I just feel sorry for you.
Anyway, it sucks that there was a volume problem with the stages. I didn't even realize that.
no your head bobbing and leno is cool with me. im glad you enjoyed it. i was trying to go nuts and dance my style, but because everyone felt the need to shove in and pack the joint, making it hard to move and dance. This is why everyone head bob because no one had room to dance. i guess everyone only knew to head bob, i don't know. i just know, i couldnt dance cause no one would move and on top of that people were shoving there way in, while running. People were just acting retarded. Unlike you karma, they were retarded and couldn't get to deadmau5 early to get a good spot. So they decided to ruin it for some of us. Don't act like you are not upset cause quackers shoved you out of the way. had it been me i would have laid them out! ive had people try to do leno like that and i just tell them politly ive been waiting for hours. then i just tell them to quack off. leno is not cool and ITS WRONG!!!!!!!! i am truly sorry karma that u didnt get to enjoy that performance on the rail.... i prob would have enjoyed it more had my trip not gone sorry cause of a bunch of idiots. I do have to say that i am truely suprised that he is ranked as high on the producer/dj list. i do not see the hype over him.

After Thievery's amazing set I danced in the grass right outside of This Tent. There was a good amount of other people out in the grass dancing too. The combination of the cool night air, spacious room for dancing, and the cube made it an amazing experience. The show definitely should have been louder but that didn't prevent me from enjoying every second.
I was surprised that he didn't include any samples or remixes during his set. But that made it a unique mau5 show of the three I've seen. Anyone else wonder if he played some new material towards the end of the set?

i don't know what the song was called but the last one he played has never been played anywhere other than sat night at bonnaroo

You repeat your complaints over and over: - I want people to be spaced out more so I can dance. - I don't want people to be close to the stage - I think it's lame that people pack in tight. - Frat boys are to blame for all these problems.

He did at Ultra so he probably did at Bonnaroo as well. As far as the new tracks go - check his soundcloud acct. He usually posts his new mixes there so you may be able to find track names.
(and god, don't you just love it when people judge you for liking an artist? I am NOT new to EDM by any means and I love deadmau5...I just really love house music...nothing wrong with that!)

Really wanted to catch his set, but I was too tired. I'm surprised about the sound issue. That's too bad he couldn't have the sound output from the Lunar Stage... that Leno was loud.
2/5- Papadosio 3/3- MUSE 3/12- John Mayer 3/19- The Werks 3/31- Passion Pit 4/18- Ben Folds 4/20- Against Me! 6/10- Bonnaroo 6/30- Eric Clapton and Roger Daltrey
wow.... i totally was there during that video and that leno was not epic. laggy i thought u were saying the same thing about mau5 that i did. his music had no build or direction. That's how i felt. never said people being close to the stage was bad. Just think its retarded that the people who had waited up there for over an hour (myself included) got shoved around because some dicks couldn't leave jayz in time to get there for a good spot. They shoved people to the ground on their way to the front. The front should be packed full of the people who waited there. i shouldnt have to watch the people who waited leave because a bunch of pieces of leno decided that they had to shove everyone out of the way to see the mau5 up front. the outside of the tent was awesome and full of wonderful people. this is where i should have been to begin with. i even knew better. i just wanted to be in the middle for one song. trust me all the people i saw pushing up to the front were douchy frat kids. sorry. they do it here at my venue and i know it when i see it. once again, you know a hippie when you see one...... i know frat kids when i see them. i don't care that they are up front but get there ahead of time so you don't have to fight and piss 1000's of people off. if you fill the need to pack if you have been standing there then i guess thats fine, but i just don't want to be packed in because you want to see the stage and once again cant get there early. benny you get my point now? im gonna try to find footage of these douchy kids running through the crowd.
