I have heard ridiculous things from both friends and musicians about that Radiohead show at Bonnaroo. I wish so badly I would have been at that, especially with Beck opening for them.
I did see Radiohead at Lolla and, while it was great great show, def in my top 5 or 10.... I wasn't blown away like MMJ 08. Granted, had I been at that Radiohead show on the farm I could def have a different opinion on this... I mean they played at least 3 hours right? vs 1.5 at lolla... thats tough to beat. I was also feeling a thousand times better at the MMJ 08 show.... physically, mentally, and the fact that I waited ALL day to get a decent spot at lolla and still was pretty far back with annoyingly tall people in front of me.
So I've gotta go with MMJ since this is bonnaroo we're talking about. I saw MMJ after bonnaroo in louisville and the show wasn't nearly as good... or as good as the Radiohead lolla show... but MMJ 08 was special.

Really surprised it's this close though
I saw that Lolla Radiohead show and the Roo show. You are right, the Lolla show was good but not epic like the Roo show. I am a crazy Radiohead fan and they kick total ass live..seen them 3 times. But MMJ brings something special live especially at Roo. So they got my vote here, but really there is not a wrong choice with these two.

this one is tough...wow...im a fanboy of both bands.
I'm going to give a slight edge to My Morning Jacket, being a SLIGHTLY better live band. Both bands deserve to be co-winners.
Have you umm seen Radiohead?
I saw their 06 Roo show, which is one of my favorite shows of all time and I also saw them in Holmdel in Jersey. MMJ gets the edge for being more consistently mind-blowing live. I did say slight edge to MMJ, because the top show has to be Radiohead 06 (although idk MMJ 08 is right there.) But MMJ has never disappointed and the Holmdel Radiohead show was very good, but not spectacular.
how in the hell is radiohead losing to anybody by 9 votes? i mean dont get me wrong MMJ is an amazing band, but this is frickin radiohead we are talking about here. there should be no questions asked in this, radiohead is the best band to ever play bonnaroo, period!
can we start getting some sanity in here and get radiohead in the lead?
