it had map of all of Bonnaroo plus a more detailed centeroo, as well as every day's schedule, and what stage/tent they were at, also you could create your own playlist.
It was pretty cool, just risky carrying your iPhone/Touch with you all the time
i just got an ipod touch and found the 09 app a little while ago. i was hoping there would be another one for this year.
i was playing with it just for fun and retroactively adding the stuff i saw, but if i recall correctly there were a few things that werent on the app. arcade disco i think. anyway..
wont be bringing it into centeroo but it will be nice to have at camp when we go back periodically and in the mornings so sort of have the day planned out without having to refer to the little book and try and remember everything we wanted to see, or find the paper i wrote it all down on.
thanks to whoever makes it and i am looking forward to another one.
Last year's App was cool as a First Effort. But as far as usefulness, it was ass. It was not very customizable, did not allow any notes/color coding/whatever to DO anything. I am interested to see if it has evolved this year...
"You look like you're listening to every note." - Lady to me during LCD's "final" show 2023: Mar 29 - Guster Apr 6 - Postmodern Jukebox Apr 26 - Father John Misty May 14 - Taylor Swift (Philly) May 17 - Robert Plant and Alison Krauss July 12 - moe. Blackberry app world blows and you can't even access through wifi on their newest Curve.Bull Jive! Rest assured you will get the android app before blackberry. If blackberry gets the Bonnaroo 2010 app it will be in May of 2012!
I opened up the app today just for chits and gigs, and it no longer has anything from last year on it (it still when I checked it not too long ago). This could possibly mean that something is coming soon, or it might mean nothing. Either way, it is progress.
Add my voice to the chorus hoping for an Android app. My bud had the iPhone app last year, and he used it quite a bit. I did fine without it, but sometimes I need all the help I can get.
Festival apps always tend to drain the battery on my iPhone super fast.
?? More so then other apps?
I have not noticed that. My iPhone will last the entire day on a overnight charge. What I do notice is if the bluetooth to "looking" for connectivity, it will not last as long.
I'm also hoping for an Android app. However, if it only works on a newer version than I'm still outta luck. My HTC Droid Eris hasn't gotten a much needed Android update yet. Motorola Droid has many other apps mine can't get.
