Just read that since the All Star Break, the Braves have won more games at Citi Field than the Mets have. I'm indifferent towards both teams, but that made me lol.
I'm not indifferent to both teams and that still makes me lol.
Nothing is more frustrating than being a Pirates fan....I woulda just preferred they suck the entire season then when it really mattered. That glimpse of hope in July and August was fun.
Overall points league. Top 5 pays at the end of the year. However, each week pays out the top 3 highest scoring teams during that scoring period. So if you win a week you get $20, 2nd place in the week gets $10 and third gets $5. That way you can still make some money back even if you don't cash in the top 5. That's how I've already made $100 before the final cash payout. Scoring system is as follows:

Loving Miguel Cabrera right now. Carrying my fantasy team to a cash! Also he's only 2 homers away from leading in all the Triple Crown Categories. Pretty incredible

No I think they plan to use him out of the bullpen. Though depending on how well he pitches and how the back end of their rotation fares and what situation they're in playoff-wise here down the stretch I could see him making a start or two. He is an exceptional young talent, a la Mike Trout
Yeah, I think he was only called up due to the 18 inning game. Guessing he will just get a few innings here and there to see how it goes. He was on a pretty strict IP limit so I can't see him starting but the way this season has gone who knows.
Aside from the Yankees struggling to pull away from a team that has a payroll nearly 2.5x lower than its own, there are other things going on in the world of baseball. One of those things is the decay of the Mets because their billionaire owners are so historically awful at running a baseball franchise that anytime the team starts to show promise, they do something to destroy it like Chris Farley tearing apart a biscuit in Tommy Boy.
Except instead of fat, cuddly, hilarious actors, they're seedy, selfish, arrogant, pompous *ssholes. *ssholes who antagonize their own fan base, their own players, their own coaches, and give their GM (who is actually a great GM) embarrassingly low funds for a NYC-based team. I feel bad for Sandy Alderson, because I think he would assemble a great roster if the sh*tty owners gave him more than 50 cents to go and buy a dollar's worth of positions.
Congrats on probably-making the playoffs, but believe it or not we can talk about bad teams, too. It kills a lot of time in the offseason. I realize my offseason started in August, but I've waited long enough to hate on my team a little bit.
Also, everyone on earth should be rooting for RA Dickey to get to 20 wins. he's got 3 more shots, needs two wins, and it would really put Dickey's season up there in the discussion for the best in Mets history (which, despite what you probably think, is littered with incredible pitching). I hate the Mets' ownership, but I'll always root for the players, and there hasn't been a Met easier and more fun to root for than Tricky Dickey.

Its still too far off with too little time left. And you're not dealing with the Mets in front.
