I'll be back again this year, although I may be by myself for the first time. At this point the lineup would have to be a total disaster to keep me from the farm!

I am going with my younger brother. It will be our first time.
I have already begun planning where I am going to stop to pick up good canned beer (I just cannot stomach the usual Anheiser crap). I am afraid to wait until I get to TN only because I will be dead in the water if I am without beer. Beer just makes everything more fun

You can't go wrong with canned Yuengling and there's always some at the walmart by 'roo. I'd try to get them somewhere before just to make sure you have some. Welcome
My little brother turns 21 in may, and as a surprise birthday present, I'm taking him to the Roo this year... We're both Roo noobs, but I can't contain myself, and I guarantee he'll crap a brick when I tell him.
Sounds like a few Roo regulars aren't stoked about the lineup, but my brother and I have such eclectic tastes in music, I'm pretty excited.
Hey, kungfukittay, you're first 2 posts were about beer. Here, I'll give you some CoCo.
I can't help it: my first thoughts and concerns about Bonnaroo were . . . will I be able to bring good beer? Beer is one of my favorite things . . . right next to books and music. Heh: Books, Beer, Music, and Nature *(can't forget about this important aspect of life)* a few of my most favorite things in the world.

Sweeeet. Is that why I'm on fire?
(I so badly would like to write something about how fires are so good with [-insert my fave drink here-] but I thought it would be overkill so I passed it on by . . . without really passing it on by . . . ha ha I love how that works.)

Which route are you taking? If you're going up to Memphis and across to Nashville, there are a few good spots to pick up good beers like the Beer Depot in Murfreesboro. If you're coming up via Birmingham, I'm sure someone from Huntsville would be able to direct you to a good beer place. I usually bring Yuengling and/or Fat Tire. Bienvenue.
Can't wait this year. I LOVE the line up for what it's worth. This is an anniversary gift to my wife and I from each other for the third year in a row. Our 2 kids are going to stay with their Nana (they call it Nana-roo). I can't wait to see everyone on the farm and look forward to meeting some inforooers as this is the first year that I have frequented the boards. ( I will be looking for the viking hat and the clock madman. A picture with you gets you a beer of your choice!) Bonnaroo is the most amazing thing that I have ever been a part of and everyone we know is tired of hearing about it at this point!

Btw...kinda off the subject, but did anyone else buy a Bayou Billy Homebrew Root beer last year...if so, are you gonna take the can back again this year?

Just found out that my friend is going to Roo! He's going to be in Denver the day before and wasn't sure if he could get the company he works for to buy him a ticket to Nashville instead of back to Indianapolis, and they did! He'll be taking the shuttle from the airport to Roo, I guess I should read up on that a bit. Hopefully it's not too much of a pain in the ass.

Hey everyone, I'll be going to 'roo for the 2nd time in a row (and ever) this year. heading out from MA with 3 buddies, one who I went with in 09. I got tickets before they announced anyone, and to be honest I'm still just as excited for this year despite the line up not quite being what I expected. I cant wait to get the ridiculous huge ticket in the mail in a month. My birthday is the week before bonnaroo, no better place on earth to celebrate it than Roo.
Heading to Bonnaroo for the first time. I've been wanting to for years, so I'm glad it's actually happening. Should be a blast. Man, this Inforoo board is addicting!!

didn't even know this existed! I'm a Newcastle fiend. I'm bummed I can't bring my fave but Yuengling is a solid choice - karma
According to someone in the beer thread, Newcastle does come in a can now.

I'll be coming with the hubby for our second 'roo. Went in '08 and is actually where he proposed. How can you say no when you're at bonnaroo, so a good choice by him lol. We missed last year because he joined the Air Force and was in tech school at the time but hopefully we won't be missing any others! We CAN'T wait and are trying to recruit a few other airmen to tag along for their first but we'll see what happens!
Dubai(me), Toronto(shaz), Egypt(sara) & Pittsburgh(jakob)... all ready to come crashing into each other at the ROooo 2010!!! 60hours of Air & Road tripping for me to get there.. plus the line-up outside Can't wait for every minute of it!
