Got tickets early with no regrets. 'Roo has become an anchor around which the rest of the year revolves. Although the 2010 headliners don't entice me at all, some friends are very excited by this year's toppers. Don't understand it myself, but to each his own. Good vibes are infectious. If others are joyful I'm joyful.
Im 98% sure that im going this year. Only way im not going is if Phish is having a multi-night run within short driving distance of my house which is doubtful. Was not happy about the lineup at first but after some research im starting to get excited about going this year when I was really doubting whether I was even going to go when the lineup first came out.
I'll be there, just got my ticket this week. I convinced one of my close friends to get a ticket back in December, so I was locked in. Can't wait for Stevie and some Disco Biscuits!

got my ticket last month. my boyfriend's too. AND i just recently found out that my good friend Brian bought a ticket. so us three 'Roo virgins are gonna pop our 'Roo cherries together. I've never been so excited about anything in my whole life.....(might be a bit of an exaggeration.. but not much)
I'm stoked for: (in no particular order)
Jay-Z Tenacious D Weezer TFL The Dead Weather John Fogerty LCD Soundsystem Les Claypool The Black Keys Deadmau5 The xx Baroness Lous Neon Indian
and after some more research there will probably be more.
I know there are going to be some conflicts, guess i'll deal with those when the schedule comes out.
When I started going in 04' I promised myself I would go to 10 before I stopped.
I got 3 more.
Not counting this one.
I'll plan to go until either the world or Bonnaroo ends. If I'm not mistaken, the end of the world is scheduled for the year after next, though I'm not sure of the date, so this year then one or two more, then oblivion for me.
Me! Order tickets for my boyfriend & me a couple weeks ago. This will my first Roo, his second ('07). I'm extremely excited to say the least! And I have a quite a few friends who say they're going also, but only 2 have actually purchased tickets so far.

I'm gonna be there for the first time this year. Can't wait for the best four days of my life. For me its all about meeting great people and being exposed to new music, and partying every second. Roo can get it'
Me and my wife (squirrel, is her inforoo SN) and our 'roo companions from last year all bought VIP tix again this year when they went on sale. This will be our 5th 'roo. We do think the lineup is a little weak but that means we may have some time to experience the silent disco, theatre tent, and comedy tent which we havent before.
I went last year for the first time (first festival ever actually) and while I had an amazing, fantastic time every minute of every day... I missed out on a LOT. I took the typical Noobaroo route of pretty much just seeing a few bands that I wanted to see, and a few in passing, and spending a lot of time in camp drinking free beer and eating corn and chilling out. Don't get me wrong, that was great, but I missed out on late night stuff, silent disco, comedy tent, and a lot of the music both big and small acts. I think this year I will be more focused on the entertainment available at Roo and less focused on being in the campsite, even though it was fun.
