Some artist appearances sparked new opportunities: The connection Hall made with electro-funk duo Chromeo on the show has lead to the group prepping a version of "Live From Daryl's House" for this year's Bonnaroo festival. "Bonnaroo is significant because it's taking 'Live From Daryl's House' into an additional place," Hall says. "It shows how the show is evolving into a live entity."

I havent heard any of their collabo stuff, but h&o is some of my fav old school stuff and Chromeo is a group I just started listening to a couple weeks ago but I LOVE it. I really hope this doesnt conflict with something else good, I'd hate to have to make a choice like that.

Bump....with each passing day I get more and more excited about this show. I've been feverishly searching for any hints as to what else this show will have in store for us but can't really find anything. I wonder how long they've been practicing and what sorts of songs to expect from each band other than those included in the LFDH episode.
Even though the new Black Keys album is incredible, I'm still leaning toward this show. It just seems like the most enjoyable late night dance party in Bonnaroo history! I've watched most of the LFDH's and they're pretty much all great. Hopefully we'll see a Diane Birch or Monte Montgomery sit-in...

He could possibly come out during Diane Birch as well. As she has done the live at Daryl's house as well. That is assuming he is there already on Thursday.

Yeah that was a really great episode of Daryl's House.
Well I saw Chromeo at Rothbury last year and he was decked out with the lights and full of fast-paced, loud music. It was a good show. But it has me thinking the combination of Hall and Chromeo could/should be a lot more up-tempo than what those videos suggest. Or at least I hope.
I wouldn't like to see them come out without much energy in the set like these videos. Chromeo just sits there in the videos versus was all running around and such during the live performance. They really toned down the 80s rhythm for the Hall & Oates songs in the vids I feel like. This would be a major disappointment.
On the flip side if they keep it fast it should be quite the event.
You know how sometimes musicians are on stage and they go through the motions and just kind of bored and unhappy? That was the opposite of this. Dave, Daryl and P-Thugg all had permanent grins on their faces the entire time. They played literally every awesome Chromeo and Hall & Oates song outside of "Night by Night" and "Rich Girl". It was a SERIOUS dance party and I honestly can't say outside of Jay-Z I had a better time at a show this weekend.
I will be incredibly sad if there isn't a recording of this somewhere.
WOW I loved this show. I walked up to the tent dancing and didnt stop dancing till it was over. Like a mosh pit in the middle of a rock show crowd, there was a big group of us in the middle of the crowd that formed a massive dancing pit. <3
This show was awesome including the fan to blow Daryl Hall's hair back. I danced the whole damn time. If you danced with someone in a robot glowstick outfit then you were dancing with me.
Friday night was such a tough decision on what to see but I know I made the right one.

I was super excited for this show, but it didn't do much for me. Sure the music was great, but I just wasn't that into it. I was kind of sick to my stomach all day Friday, so that could of had something to do with it.

Best show of the weekend for me. Danced the entire show. Even if you aren't a Chromeo fan, when they did 100%, holy hell. I need a boot of this show. Anyone write down the set list? I wrote them down for some of the shows I went to, but I wanted to dance my ass off for this one.
Yeah, I'll try to take a picture of it tonight, but it was a black shirt with a picture of Daryl, Dave1 and P-thug that says Live from Daryl's House at Bonnaroo, then says Daryl Hall and Chromeo at the bottom.

Was an amazing set for sure. Could be my favorite of the weekend. Didn't stop dancing the whole show.
"I don't care if you can't stand! DANCE ON YOUR KNEES!"
The only problem was that P-Thugg's voice synth thing wasn't working like 50% of the time and it was really annoying. The sound people on the This stage sucked.
