So much Monsters of Folk talk...come on, guys. MMJ is getting after it this year, no more rest periods for side projects, damnit. 2010 is the year of the Jacket
6/18: Phish in Hartford 6/25: Phish in Camden 7/2-7/4: Nateva 7/17: God Street Wine at Irving Plaza 7/23-7/25: String Cheese at Red Rocks!! 8/17-8/18: Phish at Jones Beach 9/3: Rush at PNC
This Bonnaroo lineup is in dire need of some Rush.
Looks like DMB is the only major headliner so far, and i agree we need more jaaaammmmm!!! I think they've saved the jam bands for the end, for the Bonnaroo faithful. And you can bet we're gonna get some sort of grand ending to this long day!
whether anyone likes it or not KOL is probably a headliner. They just tore the grammy's apart.
so, who else is holding out hope for a "grand finale" that includes Stevie, LCD Soundsystem and then some combination of Neil, Waters, MMJ, SCI, Further, Paul Simon, Pavement??? I am hoping we get at least 3 of those.
I think we've got a few hours to go and the big names will be Paul Simon, SCI, and Roger Waters. I'm holding out hope that MMJ will be back on the farm next year and I'm not sure if Neil will be there. If all 5 of these names are there then I may just have to go crazy
Since Mars Volta definitely won't be there, it'd be a real treat if Omar played with one his side projects or even if his brother's band, Zech's Marquise, played
"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves, heres Tom with the weather..." - Bill Hicks
the bands in the last hour have been considerably less-whelming(?)....or more underwhelming. have we given up on arcade fire?
I wouldn't let the previous bands affect other bands being announced. I think they sprinkle in the huge names after a few upper, middle, and lower level names. so i think arcade fire is still possible

Does this think end at 10 p.m. eastern??? I'd like to try and figure out how many more acts we're getting, because I am making a list of expected acts that we have not seen yet.
1. Ingrid Michaelson 2. John Prine 3. Tinariwen 4. Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers and Tenacious D 5. Jay-z 6. Medeski, Martin, and Wood 7. Dan Deacon 8. 9. 10. Manchester Orchestra D. Z. Gwar
And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.
