Saw DM and Nas last year, Nas was off a bit, but i'm not a huge hip hopper, but flag guy and DM were awesome. John Butler though? I heard a little on it, nothing confirmed though right?
A Thieve's Parade 2/24 Conspirator 2/26 Kevin Smith 3/11 Keller 3/17 Papadosio 3/18 JJ Grey 3/25 Bela Fleck/Edgar Meyer 3/26 Toubab Krewe 3/27 O'Death 4/11 Budos Band 4/22 EOTO 4/28 Summer Camp 5/6-29 All Good
well we all knew Nas was a high possibility because of last year.
but what's even more interesting is Nas and Jay-z on the same bill. that almost guarantees that Nas will come out with Jigga for a song or two. I expect Wale or Kid Cudi possibly as well

There better be some JBT. He's playin waka and thus will be out there that week. Need to see the new trio. BOMBA is sick nasty, and haven't been able to catch them this year. pleaseplease John Butler
at one point. Nas did an I declare... concert every thought it was I declare war but it was peace and brought out Jay-Z. They did a song together called Black Republican.
yea it was real bitter. they eventually became close because while they feuded....they always respected each others talents and really they feuded over a girl who both of them moved past anyway. they've shared the stage and been on each other's songs a few times since they buried the hatchet.
We'll see how it goes...but so far I'm just not that amazed with this years lineup so far...That's just me though.
I'm still optimistic that the lineup will improve. However, this MySpace, day-long joke of a lineup announcement is FUBAR. Sometimes, I just wonder wtf Superfly is thinking.

I'm a little out of touch in the hip hop world these days. Last I remembered Jay Z and Nas had a "Beef" with each other. I take it that is over now?
That's all the way back at the original Blueprint album. They have since settled that beef and actually have performed together since then. This setups the stage for them to perform again together this year.
This is honestly one of the best Bonnaroo lineups since my wife and I went the first time in '06 IMHO. I cannot wait for the Roo now!
