No VIP for us this year. Besides the camping proximity it's just not worth it in my eyes. Plus all of my friends go GA, so I figured I'll hang out with them. The biggest factor is that even with VIP last year, I was searched nearly every time going into the grounds. Nothing was stolen and I wasn't really hassled or worried for that matter but if I'm gonna shell out that cash I expect not to be burdened with longass lines and getting patted down. I hope everyone has a blast and rocks out with their socks out. I still got sum VIP love dough!
Bought my tickets yesterday...There's something about polka music that makes me want to whip out my credit card!
This will be my second Bonnaroo and second VIP. I'm pushing 50 and defintely enjoy the the added perks.. especially the deluxe showers and cans. I hope they are going to have the lounge areas again too...Its nice to cool down and have an orange or 2 and relax.
This year, I'm bringing my 17 year old son fresh from his high school graduation. heck of a graduation present, huh?

Just purchased VIP ticket yesterday.... my brother, my boyfriend, boyfriend's drinking buddy, and I will all be headed to VIP... hopefully we'll be the first vehicle in like last year!
When VIP arrives to camping entrance (after check-in) please go find the traffic director in charge and let him know that VIP Patrons have arrived and are lining up... they will not open up VIP camping unless they know we are there and they had no way to communicate with VIP check-in last year.
We are coming back and after having driven through the GA area we can say, VIP is MORE than worth it....Wow maybe if I was a teenager but being an old fart NO WAY....
BTW we are considering an RV rental this year but we would desire to split the cost. So if anyone is interested let us know.

We went walking through GA last year and there's no way that I could make it in there. I guess I'm a wuss or maybe I'm getting too old, but no way man.
Well, I thought this would be the year of our return to roo. The Sasquatch lineup has turned out to be rather stellar and we can't pass it up. Maybe next year for roo? Have a good time all. You can be assured that Bonnaroo has the best value for the money as far as VIP packages go. We are by passing the vip package for Sasquatch this year. A total waste of money in my opinion.
4th Bonnaroo and 1st VIP!!! We've been fairly lucky in GA in the past, but after seeing people getting stuck camping in 2 foot tall grass along a fence row last year, we just couldn't risk it. Besides, we missed way too much standing in line and walking from our campsite. It will definitely be worth it to us. Can't wait to see you all there!!!

4th for me as well. Did '02 and '03 in GA with some friends when I was a young bachelor. Went with the wife last year and we rented an RV offsite and drove it in to General RV camping. This year we decided to go VIP and back to the tent.
I didn't care much for the RV area last year. It seemed like people stayed to themselves too much. A lot different than my past experiences at the first 2 Roo's in GA. I'm hoping that was an RV thing and not just a general change in the Roo over the years as its gone mainstream.
Looking forward to getting back to camping and hopefully the VIP community will be a bit more friendly.
second roo - first VIP. had a pretty sweet setup in GA last year but dont wanna chance getting stuck super far out so I decided to go VIP with a different group of friend
"Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you're gonna be up again. But life goes on. Remember that."
This is my 4th Bonnaroo and The future wife and I have decided to make this Bonnaroo our Honeymoon and do it VIP.
How is the wait for showers/restrooms in VIP?
Is there a separate VIP entrance into the campgrounds?
First off, Congratulations on your nuptials! I am sure Bonnaroo will be a great honeymoon.
There may occasionally be a line for the nice bathrooms however you will not wait more than a few minutes for a stall even during peak times. The showers can get busy with lines up to 20 minutes at times from about 10:00-12:00 however other than you should be able to walk in. I really like taking a shower to refresh myself before the headliner or late night.
VIP has a separate check-in area so you bypass the long lines on the highway and local roads and after you check-in they will give you a map and directions to the quick and easy entrance to the VIP camping area.

Hi all - 1st time 'roo'er (and consequently 1st time in VIP, funny how that works). Been to a few other fests a few years back but always went GA. A friend of mine made me a deal I couldn't refuse. He said he'd buy the VIP tix if I took care of transportation and a hotel room the night before the fest. I'm looking forward to some great times and hoping to meet some folks too. I don't have much to say right now, just wanted to pop in and add myself to the VIP roll call. Take care everyone!
Hey all PittBob here and I am really sorry I did not make it last year, things fell through for me, I am really thinking about coming again this year and if I do I will be back in Camp VIP again...I should have a good answer soon, but I am leaning on going.

We are Bonnaroo newbies that decided VIP was the way to go. We bought tix before the lineup was announced and then painfully waited for 6 weeks! Inforoo has shown us that VIP was a good choice. Never flown in & tent camped before. We are used to packing enough supplies for a small army. This will be an experience for sure.

If you roll with us in "Tarp Side Of The Moon", someone will have what you need and share.
This is a first Bonnaroo for my wife and me and we're doing it VIP.
As for champagne without glass, Francis Ford Coppola Winery makes a pretty good champagne called Sophia, that is in single serving cans. Not crazy expensive, either. It's about $5 for a can that is I think 187ml.

Third Bonnaroo and first official VIP. My boyfriend and I won VIP tickets on Saturday so we got a slight taste of the sweet life. We just HAD to buy VIP this year after that. So excited to see everyone in June!
