The fact that tickets are going on sale tomorrow makes me think they're rewarding people who are paying attention. Like there's going to be a REAL big name and there will be big demand.
When has there ever been demand so great that tickets sell out quickly?
since the lineup gets dropped 2-9-10, will we know in about 5 1/2 hours from now (midnight)??? that would be worth staying up for...and also make it hard to sleep from the excitement of finally finding out
if i remember correctly the line-up was released at a certain point in the day last year. i.e. 9am or noon or something. i don't think it comes at midnight, i could be wrong though..
has the whole "individual artist announcements" thing been confirmed? I agree with those against the idea. I don't see why they would wait all day to release the lineup when tickets go on sale at noon. last year's lineup video was a great way to present the lineup and there's just so much more power in seeing all the names at once. I don't want to know the lineup until I know it all.

I think you might be wrong. I was up until 12 waiting on the lineup. TVOTR leaked it on their MySpace page a few hours early, but midnight was the official time last year.

It hasn't happened yet right? I thought it might sell out really fast for Phish, but it didn't.

Im def hitting up Dennys in the am. That place is gonna be packed. Im still staying up tonight just to see if anyone drops something at midnight.
Whoa dude, your seeing Kurt Vile?
Check that link on my sig, it's his little brother's band (Vilebred). I'm good friends with the entire band, haven't seen Kurt in years though since he's been touring
I was hoping for another TVOTR incident to come home to. 10 a.m.? Boo. I was hoping it'd be released by midnight. Oh well, I can wait a bit longer, I suppose.
There's been one sell-out: 2005. I got my ticket for '05 in late March...
and that was a very Jammy year

Heh, it's weird hearing Inforoo talking about Kurt. I knew he was doing well in Europe but I didn't know he was getting this much recognition. Keep supporting Kurt, he comes from a large family and they're all some of the best people I've ever met.
Two of his brothers will be coming with me to Bonnaroo this year, hopefully Kurt will be on the bill ;D

Bonnaroo has been announced to be "sold out" almost every, if not every year. 2008 I think was the only year attendance fell without ticket sales being intentionally reduced. But I think they still called it a sell out that year too.

IMO, a sell-out is different from "we stopped selling tickets," which does happen EVERY year...

It all comes down to how you define "sell out". I don't know how to do that, other than going by what's announced by the promoters. And they've announced it almost every, if not every year.
