wonder if thats real?
CoS had Jay-Z headlining the fest on Sat and Muse on Fri.
Id say this may make it more likely to have Jay-Z, no way Coach would want Bonnaroo to take their number 1 headliner and have him be a late night act. maybe that has somethin to do with the apparent switch?

*grumble* Coachella. You lucky quackers.
While I would like to say that we COULD still get some of those headliners, we prolly won't. I haven't really seen headliners crossover the two festies that often. Les Claypool sounds like an ok bet to me. Maybe Dead Weather, Hot Chip and MGMT.
give us yorke, them crooked vultures, deadmau5, a repeat with grizzly bear, and throw jay z as a late night similar to NiN and i'll be very happy. better yet, invite the greenwood brothers, ed o'brien and phil selway as well and we'll really get things cooking

Claypool and Dead Weather sure. Coach can keep MGMT, forever IMO. I blew of some of moe. to see their set last year. Can you say disappointing?
I mean really, after playing Kids and having the crowd on the verge of a collective orgasm, who says, "We're gonna leave you on a mellow note. This is a new one we've never played before..."
I'm honestly not very jealous over their lineup. The undercard is very solid (and I think we will get a lot of that undercard), but the big names are not that appealing to me for the most part. I am extremely jealous about Sly and the Family Stone, though...but there is always a possibility that Sly won't even show up.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

Ill go with: Them Crooked vultures, Avett Brothers, Baroness, Faith no More, Porcupine Tree, A version of Jack White that is not the Dead Weather, Pavement, Phoenix, Sly, De La Sol, and Mayer Hawthorne
That is a very modern group of headliners. Most of them coming out with their first albums around 10 years ago (14 for Jay, 11 for Muse, 9 for Gorillaz), and I seem to remember a hint from CoS about that. And, some inforoo twitter account said one headliner is overlapping Bonnaroo/CoS. I would be VERY happy with any one of these as the modern headliner, all of them put on MONSTER shows.

Hopefully the overlapping headliner if there is one will be the Gorillaz. That could possibly play into the interview where it was mentioned one headliner wasn't around 10 years ago. Thus possibly negating all this KOL speculation.

Overall I think that the Coachella line-up is weak especially at the top. Having seen and not been impressed by Muse, not reslly being into Jay-Z and enjoying Gorillaz but not in a headlining capacity I have to call weak on that one. That said, almost every fest experience is made by undercard acts on the verge of greatness, with something to prove, fans to win over. The undercard is solid but I think Roo will end up with the bulk of the quality undercard acts anyways; XX, Yeasayer, Girls, Flo and the Machine, etc.
Assuming we won't get too many from the bolder print, top of the line-up I guess I'm only hopeful for and jealous of Thom Yorke, Fever Ray, Faith No More, and LCD Soundsystem.
I think this also bodes well for hopes of Arcade Fire, Soundgarden, Daft Punk. If they are playing fests these acts would not play both. Here's hoping
