Wakarusa 2010

Needs a couple of headliners, but damn it is one fine lineup. TLG, ALO, Zappa Plays Zappa, Black Joe Lewis. I am psyched.

While there are a lot of great names on that list ... There isn't a "wow" factor.

Yeah it seems to be lacking headliners, If they add two nights of SCI, and one of WSP, it would be one heck of a festival.

I'm stoked! I could use a bigger name (I was pretty excited about either SCI or WSP), but I'm down as is. There are a lot of names there that I love! Plus, it probably helps that this is the closest decent festival to me. I'll be there!

I'm with Claire. Being from south Texas makes it so much more expensive to get to the big fests. This is a solid lineup with plenty of names I'll see. And being only around $200 all together makes it worth it IMO.

this is going to be one fun weekend. glad they brought RRE back for 2 sets. can't wait to see what else they have in store.

I agree. Hopefully Headliners are forthcoming. STS9 and tDB aren't headlining material IMO.

In the COS interview he said about 100 bands, so this should be less than half.

Zappa Plays Zappa makes this a great thing but i agree that there is still no "wow" factor....although I do like the Disco Biscuits

A couple bands I wouldn't mind seeing at Bonnaroo (STS9, Tea Leaf Green, Black Joe Lewis), but overall, nothing for me to get excited about (as far as potential 'Roo artists)

In all fairness it's the additions that always got me. They release like 10 to 20 at the time.

And it's not a bad line up by anymeans. But nothing that grabs me as making it a destination festival. Thats all.

I am looking forward to Waka as an event of its own, and on the way to Roo. Already a couple bands that I want to see.

I hope they get a little more room in the ADA camping this year. It was a little crowded, but we will manage just fine.

Last year they let people buy an extended camping pass for like $20. This pass would let you camp until the Wednesday or Thursday after the festival. Many people did this, then headed out for 'roo on Wednesday.

If you have not been to Mulberry Mountain, DO IT It is the most beautiful place to have a festival. The scene/community is nothing like you could imagine.

The mountain is Magical!! ;D

Here is the map they have up for Vending info. I'm sure it may change a little, but looks nice so far. satellite stage in the woods is the 24/7 stage, being mostly electronic.

There's a disc golf course there? Do people play? I've never seen a Waka schedule, is there time to play a round?

The constellations added according to pollstar. Anybody think we will get second round before bonnaroo announces. I think it would be smart to add at least one headliner before roo does.
