This album shows some good potential based on what we've heard live so far. There aren't any new songs that I dislike. I think my favorites that I've heard are Ocelot and Kill Devil Falls. Ocelot has become one of my favorite Phish songs, period.

Now that you mention it, Alaska pops into my head a lot too. Catchy chorus, even though I don't know the lyrics and make up my own in my head. There are fewer words that rhyme with Alaska than you might think.
Lyrically, I think the chorus of Joy is classic Phish -- lines that feel like they're singing directly to you in the crowd.

The album is listed on Phish's website. Here are the tracks they have for it:
Backwards Down The Number Line (5:37) Stealing Time From The Faulty Plan (4:40) Joy (4:24) Sugar Shack (4:04) Ocelot (3:36) Kill Devil Falls (5:29) Light (5:02) I Been Around (1:57) Time Turns Elastic (13:30) Twenty Years Later (5:03)

I think all of their songs are pronounced with a silent "Alaska" except Alaska. Hee hee. But hey, it wouldn't exactly be the first time they wrote a song without putting it on a new album.

Ok, I'm going for a double-posting record in this thread. Since Phish has this new album coming out, I thought this exchange from an old interview with Trey about the 8-hour Big Cypress set might be relevant:
MK: A lot of tapers were there and they tried very hard to capture the whole concert without any cuts in their tapes but most of them failed. What would you say about that?
Trey: Well, Murphy’s Law would say the moment that their tapes stopped would probably be the greatest moment of the whole night. (laughter) We should’ve been selling blank tapes - we could’ve made some extra money! (laughs)
MK: That’s a great idea! Please consider it when you come to Japan! (laughs)
Trey: We could make more money selling blank tapes than we do selling our albums. (laughter)

I think I'm just gonna take each of the tracks of the album from recent live shows and make a playlist of it, and call it Joy and use that instead. Probably better off that way
^Haha, maybe so. I really want the vinyl... and that cool gray t-shirt so I can be trendy The super duper deluxe boxset really isn't that bad of a deal though... Not that i can afford it, but still a good deal.

Just checked this out. What looks like an awesome pricing on most everything is spoiled by the shipping charges. I mean... the CD which is like $9.99 or something has shipping of $7.24!! That's absurd. I'm not paying 75% extra just to ship it. Especially when the item being shipped is just a single CD.
I'll stick with my initial plan regarding this album for now ;D
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
