Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and Neko Case (they did Swing Low Sweet Chariot. I'm not joking.) David Byrne and Dirty Projectors (DP song from Dark was the Night) Elvis Perkins and Bon Iver (Feel Like Goin' Home by Yo La Tengo) NIN and Dillinger Escape Plan (Wish)
Karen O wasn't with The Decemberists. They've been touring with the two gals who sang on their last album. Shara Worden is one of them and she has a Karen O-like haircut, I guess.

This is a pretty short list. I was a little disappointed by the lack of collaboration this year. That and the lack of a superjam. I realize that last year's superjam was the wtfomgbbq of superjams, but that's no reason not to at least TRY to top it.

the guys from Elvis Perkins, with the exception of Elvis Perkins, came out to do the Yo La Tengo cover during Bon Iver's set as mentioned above, and they stayed to do the horns for For Emma.
The drummer from Elvis Perkins drummed for A.A. Bondy, and A.A. Bondy had another drummer come out, but I don't know who he was.

David Grisman sat in with the Tony Rice Unit.
Fishman and Grisman with Del McCoury Band was awesome. My brothers and I were front and center, and hammered drunk. We saw Fish and Mike standing backstage from where we were standing. I was hoping for Mike to sit in too, but when I saw that Fish was wearing a suit (like Del and his band) and Mike wasn't, I knew that he wasn't going to play. But it was still cool to see Fishman 10 feet away from me, even if he didn't do all that much (there's a reason why traditional bluegrass bands don't have drummers).

Triumph was also out with Neko Case - funny! Yeah, I was expecting more collabs...and though that I missed them. I saw the Badu/Snoop and Phish/Boss, NIN w/Dillinger and Triumph w/Neko...I guess I though there would be more with Elvis Costello - I had to leave to see Mars Volta but at the beginning of Elvis' show the dude who announced him said "he's got a few guests", but it was just Jenny Lewis?
^ I think the New York Times review of Bonnaroo said Allen Toussaint was playing piano with him the whole time. I wasn't at the show, anyone care to comment on this?
