I knew I would! I was just doubtful about odds of finding it in a non-white color. Now that I've got it and it's together and everything is in it, I'm so happy.
Look how snug my Breaking Bad Blu-Ray set fits in the top left, and how perfect the subwoofer fits down bottom on the right. When those started to get slotted into place I knew I had a winner
Finally got my antique RCA tube speaker cabinet working... it went from neither speaker working, to one working after some tinkering, and then after a couple of hours I got both speakers working, albeit with the left channel being a good bit weaker than the right (thanks to a balance knob, it works out fine). However, some records, most notably new rock albums don't sound so great... lots of hiss and sibilance in my Lost In The Trees albums making them damn near unlistenable, periods of strong sibilance in the Gene Clark 180 gram reissue I just got. But, oddly, the best sounding albums I've played on this thing are... industrial/electronic albums. The Tear Garden EP sounds as good as I had hoped, the 180 gram Skinny Puppy "GWOTR" sounds the best of all, and the "Love's Secret Domain" Coil lp sounds fantastic as well.
Maybe it's just that I need a new stylus, but this is good enough for me until I can get my hands on a decent player to hook up to my main setup downstairs.

We have pretty much the exact same contents in our respective Expedit units. I have my Bonnaroo lunch box and a ton of Calvin and Hobbes books on my shelves too.
You've got way more Stephen King books than I do, though.
Frame them, yes. Then get an extra copy to spin. I also purchased to special edition bundle. This sound crazy, well, because it is, but I collect everything they do on vinyl. European and US pressings, demos, radio station exclusives, reprints.
This is most of what I have, not including my international pressings, unplayed copies, sealed copies, etc. Didn't feel like fitting multiple copies in the shot.

They recorded 8 songs in 8 different cities, each city getting their own cover.
That's cool, makes it seem less like a money grab.
I think they spent like a week in each city, wrote most of each song there. Recorded with some sort of 'local legend' whatever that means. The collaborations have been pretty hush but I know they recorded with Joel Walsh in LA and Pres Hall Jazz Band in NOLA. Dave wrote lyrics only in the city. I'm really excited for it. Their doing an 8 episode series on HBO documenting the entire thing which Dave calls "a love letter to American music." I can't wait.

Well, that didn't last long... about 22 hours into finally having a working (non-destructive) record player, the belt finally went out on this ancient piece. I suppose it's time to just treat it as a piece of furniture again .
It died on the Coil album... damn satanic piece of plastic.
I ordered the NOLA cover of the new FF album. Can't wait for their Voodoo set. Seems like the perfect opportunity to play some of the new songs. Also, I just moved in three houses away from the coolest local record store (which happens to be next to the best pizza place and across from an all natural sno-ball stand). I will have zero moneys in 3..2..1...
