Blerg. Everyone is still sleeping, so I thought I'd check in. Now, I wish I hadn't. I really didn't think it was either one of you.
Chief said Bacon was innocent, and he was. Which makes me think that when Chief said Higgi was innocent, that was also true. Or, at least Chief thought it was true.
Is it possible that Chief really was inspector? That would mean Higgi definitely was innocent, which would make Kel our last mafia. Jen would have had to have been mafia too then because, otherwise, why would she lie about being inspector? The third would have been EAP because that's who Chief said he got as the first name.
Or was Jen really the inspector? That would mean that Chief and Pimp definitely were mafia. I still think Chief saying Higgi was innocent was just a move to try to get Higgi's trust. At that point, if he'd called an innocent mafia, they would have been objecting quite a lot (like EAP did), so he just confirmed an innocent's innocence. This really makes more sense to me because, if Chief had been inspector, it seems like Higgi should have been low on the list of people to ask about at that point.
I really didn't think that Kel was mafia along with Chief and Pimp because she was so vocal about accusing them, but, looking back, she didn't accuse Chief until the runoff in Day Two (and Pimp sometime after that, but I don't feel like going back to look up exactly when), when people started saying that they believed the runoff was between two innocents and they thought our inspector probably was dead. She could have just accused them because she didn't think anyone was around to confirm their guilt and she wanted to separate herself from Chief after she took up for him earlier on in the game. I didn't think anything about her forcing the runoff because, as I said before, I thought about doing the same thing. But maybe she really was just protecting her fellow mafia member.
Okay, I was just looking back at the first round. The votes were 3 for Chief and 2 for Lawn; Chief could have changed his vote from EAP to Lawn and forced the runoff himself, but he didn't; I was on at the time because I remember thinking it was kind of a dumb move on his part; about 20 minutes after he did that, Kel forced the runoff. Again, I didn't think anything about it at the time, but now, looking at the timing and Chief's "self sacrifice," I think he just was positive that Kel was going to force a runoff.
Sorry, I know this is long, but I'm just thinking it through. I think this makes sense but I thought it made sense that Bacon was the last mafia member. I'm going to go ahead and vote, though, because I don't really know when I'll be back on, and I don't want to hold up the game.
Sorry, not last minute, but you were the ONLY person who changed their vote besides....who else?? Chief!
I don't get why you think Kel's vote change is such damning evidence. She changed her vote to force a runoff because runoffs can be helpful in the first round. I considered doing the same thing. She just beat me to it.
I think Kel is innocent because she's been saying Chief and Pimp all along, and since it looks like both were mafia, she's either innocent, or they took a big gamble with her pointing fingers at the two of them.
With Higgi, we've got the whole thing with Chief making the big announcement that Higgi was innocent, which could mean either (1) they were mafia together, and Chief thought that he would try to save Higgi along with him, or (2) Chief was just trying to get Higgi's trust, or (3) Chief thought that people already didn't believe him, so he thought that he might make Higgi look guilty by association. I think (2) and (3) make more sense than (1).
here's what i think.. since that post basically insinuates the opposite of your vote, i feel as if you are just trying to get me on your side now because you KNOW Kel isn't going to change her mind, and I am clearly your only hope. So,

^That post was because, at the time, I thought both of you were innocent. When Bacon died, I had to rethink everything, and when I went back and reread the whole thread, I realized that I was wrong when I said that Kel was saying Chief and Pimp all along. When I realized that, I decided it was more likely that she was mafia than you. I really hope you will give this some more thought.

Now this is a story all about NBF Who's life got flipped turned upside down And I'd like to take a minute and just sit right here And tell you how NBF became the corpse in the 'Roo air.
In West Philadelphia born and raised On the playground is where NBF spent most of HER days Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and listenin' to some beats inside Centeroo When a couple of guys who were up to no good Started makin' trouble in the crowd, where I stood,
NBF got in one little fight and and HER friends got scared-- and just left NBF there to get beaten into a lifeless lump.

No, I was lying through my wooden teeth. No tickets will be burnt but everyone who played can give me stiff punch in the arm as long as i know it's coming. I know that this means no one will ever trust me but I had to do it to throw some doubt on everyone (which didn't work) Sorry to call you a cheater Kelaroo, didn't mean to offend or hurt anyone. I was just playing. I think I'm gonna back away from Mafia though, seems like i get under too many people's skin. Great game though!
