chicojuarz I'm looking for Chicago residency that's both affordable and in a not-so-shizzy-environment. What are your recommendations? (Thought I'd take full advantage of your time as BMOTM to ask this question)
Well, I guess that depends on your definition of affordable and shizzy. I live in Buena Park on the south part of Uptown near Wrigley, which is cheaper than Lincoln Park and Lakeview but still a very nice neighborhood and close to the lake. If you dont mind being a little further from the lake I recommend Ukrainian Village and Logan Square. Also, there is a nice area down by 18th and Halsted. I dont remember the neighborhood name. It's close to Pilsen.
You are offered a one way trip to Mars as the first person to step foot on another planet. The downside is that it is highly unlikely you will ever set foot on Earth again.
Do you take it?
Assuming you said yes,
You can bring 3 people with you. Who do you bring?
You can bring 5 personal items. What do you bring? Remember, consumables like toothpaste, beverages and all that are not able to be replenished.
How do you feel about wrestling being dropped from the Olympics?
What is your feeling and proposed resolution to the Eurozone debt crisis?
What is your dream car?
What is your favorite spice?
What did you do for St. Patrick's Day this year? I went out with BlackAmy Needless to say it was an adventure.
How do you feel about wrestling being dropped from the Olympics? I think wrestling should always be in the Olympics and that dropping it is dumb.
What is your feeling and proposed resolution to the Eurozone debt crisis? I dont like Europe and refuse to read any news about Europe. This way it masks my ignorance of the debt crisis.
What is your dream car? Delorean, with a functioning Flux Capacitor.
What is your favorite spice? Black pepper. Though I do love the White Pepper Slap Ya Mama mix.

What would you spend your days doing for fun?
What would you miss the most?

Do you take it? Depends on when this goes down. If I'm offered to go after my grandma has passed away and I'm still not married and have no kids, probably.
You can bring 3 people with you. Who do you bring? Man, I dont know. Like I would be bringing someone to die. alone. with me. Seems kind of cruel. Probably my friend Vlad because he wouldnt care and would want to go to Mars. Otherwise I'd probably leave everyone else.
You can bring 5 personal items. What do you bring? Remember, consumables like toothpaste, beverages and all that are not able to be replenished. Assuming I have a water source at least for a period longer than a week and a suit so I can survive. Probably a package of space underwear. As I understand it they kind of melt away after a while and cause some issues. A jar of my grandmas hot sauce. And three porno mags.
What would you spend your days doing for fun? Probably spend my days kicking rocks.
What would you miss the most? My friend, Olia. We have talked just about every day since we met and moved walking distance from each other so we could hang out easily.

Logan Square, what up. Thank you for that educational response.

No prob. Ask more or come into the city and lets have a party.
If you could give your teenage self three pieces of advice, what would they be? (No lottery or stock tips, etc... btw)
When you go to college major in math. You'll actually like it. Dont keep living with your mom because she lets you do whatever you want. A little structure is a good thing. You have a fucking horse. Get good at riding.
What is your standard procedure for when you're trying to impress a girl woman you just recently met?
I'm told that I test women to make certain they're smart enough for me. So I guess I leave it up to them to prove they're worth my time. Perhaps this is why I'm single.
I also like to show them my hairy stomach and ask for a tummy scratch.
Do you ever regret the decision to not have cable/internet at home?
I do sometimes regret not having internet and tv. Like when you all are here it would be fun to get on chat. Or because I love to watch Christmas movies and Disney channel. I think I'll get an antenna though. I keep forgetting I can get one of those and watch sports. Plus since I"m in the middle of Chicago I can get HD.
