I hate swooping in at the last minute, and wish I could've been a better interrogator the past month, but I have at least a couple questions I try to ask every BMOTM I haven't yet gotten to...
If I were to knock on your door right now and ask for an alcoholic beverage, what would be my choices? What is the best advice you have ever received?

Well, I'm currently at my boyfriend's apartment, where your choices are beer, SoCo, vodka (Stoli), and Bacardi strawberry dragonfruit rum. And possibly some sort of scotch. I think mixers are pretty much limited to orange juice and strawberry daiquiri/margarita mix. If you knocked on my door at home, your choices would probably be more limited...there's a lot of wine and a fair amount of liquor but I live with my parents and it all sort of belongs to them. There's beer that could be up for grabs though, plus at least one cherry lime Smirnoff ice which belongs to me as much as anyone.
"Better to regret something you did than something you didn't do." Although I also once got some good advice from my mom, which I can't word so eloquently but was something along the lines of "if you have a choice between making a situation worse and making it better, make it better."

Well, it is just about midnight here in my time zone, so I think it's time to end my reign as Board Member of the Month. Thanks everyone for your questions! I had a lot of fun answering them all, and I'm very honored to have been chosen.
And now, of course, I must announce the June Board Member of the Month...(drumroll please)...
...Scrog!
I figure Scrog deserves some recognition for helming the QSaRS! Such awesomeness DEFINITELY warrants a turn as BMotM.
And Scrog, I will start you off with your first questions:
What's YOUR favorite Beatles song?
What kind of toothpaste do you use?
When you type a "c" into your browser's address bar, what's the first website it suggests?
If you were going to suddenly grow a sixth finger on one hand, would you like it on your right hand or your left?
Who is your hero? What was the first album you purchased? What was the first concert you attended? Which extracurricular activities were you involved with in high school? How many states have you visited? Do you speak any foreign languages? Which video games have taken the most hours from your life? Any self-loving in the portapotty on this year's Bonnaroo agenda? Who is your favorite comedian? What is your favorite curse word? If you could fight any historical figure, who would you fight?

Really! SWEET!!! ;D ;D I very happy and excited to be your June BMotM! ;D Thank you Plastic Pepper! This is an honor and I hope I do the seat proud. With that being said, Lets begin...
And Scrog, I will start you off with your first questions:
What's YOUR favorite Beatles song?
What?! Man that is like my underwear, It changes every week. I mean there are so many good Beatles songs My favorites go from Strawberry Fields, Come Together, Hey Jude, Rocky Raccoon, Imagine, and so many others. This week it is: With a little help from my friends. Gonna go out on a limb and say, next week: Lucy in the sky with Diamonds.
What kind of toothpaste do you use?
I like the bold blast of Cinnamon I get from whitening expressions by Crest. or anything from a tube, last week it was hospital tooth paste, we ran out at the house and I was too lazy to stop by the store and it tasted good.
When you type a "c" into your browser's address bar, what's the first website it suggests?
I thought it was going to be porn hub, but Inforoo won! which is fare, because I only spend 2.2-2.5 minutes/day on porn hub and countless hours on Inforoo.
If you were going to suddenly grow a sixth finger on one hand, would you like it on your right hand or your left?
I write right handed and a 6th finger would throw that off, so I will go left.
What are your thoughts on the color "indigo"?
You mean purple? Or blue? I really do not think about colors too often, but when I do I am partial to the darker colors, and indigo, midnight blue is my favorite color.
If you could take one of the top 3 billed acts on this years line-up and change them for another band in the same genre, who would you change for who? (Radiohead for Eminem is not an acceptable answer)
Of coarse my parents, but there is this one guy. For the life of me I can not think of his name, but he is a patient I will never forget. He was a 70 year old man, he had a bad heart, doctors wanted to put him on a machine called a intra-aortic balloon pump, which is when a balloon is inserted into the Aorta, the main artery coming from the heart, this balloon is connect by a wire to a machine, a pump that sits outside the body, after each heart beat, when the heart is resting, the balloon is quickly inflated, and as the heart beats and pushes blood out, the balloon quickly deflates, causing a vacuum and in turn basically sucking the blood out of the ventricles of the heart. It does this with every beat. It makes it easier for the heart to work, but you get to spend your day in bed, connected to a machine, not moving and once you go on it, you only come off when you get a heart transplant or you die. Some how we started talking about life and what happens after wards and things of that nature. We both agreed about with each other. Then he asked me what I thought about him and a balloon pump. I told him the truth. I did not sugar coat anything and asked him, "Do you want to spend your last days stuck in this place, connected to a machine, me giving your a bed bath ;D?" He laughed, "maybe that day nurse, but not your hairy ass!" That was Thursday. He was scheduled for surgery on Monday. On Tuesday I found out that he canceled his surgery Sunday night and then died the next day. Why is this guy my hero? He was not greedy for life and was not afraid to take the next step.
What was the first album you purchased?
Now that I think about it. I do not think I have ever bought an album, my first CD was Kool Moe Dee's How ya like me now?, Rob Base w/ DJ EZ rock, It takes Two, and Life is Too short, by Too Short. I got those three all at the same time.
What was the first concert you attended?
It was before anybody had every heard of him, but my first concert was at the Strawberry festival in Plant city I saw Garth Brooks, between the pig races and funnel cakes, there he was singing about friends in low places.
Which extracurricular activities were you involved with in high school?
I played football, I wrestled for 2 years, I was a jock. I was also on the yearbook staff.
How many states have you visited?
Is Puerto Rico a state yet? If so, put it up there with Hawaii, the New England states, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oregon, and Washington as states I have not visited yet.
Do you speak any foreign languages?
No, I took 2 years of French in high school, but now I know about 2 words.
Which video games have taken the most hours from your life?
Hands down Halo. My roommate at the time and another friend and I an bought an XBOX together, just for Halo. I have been playing Halo every since a month after it's debut.
Any self-loving in the portapotty on this year's Bonnaroo agenda?
HaHa! Depends if I can find an empty tent that in not locked up.
Who is your favorite comedian?
Richard Pryor all time favorite. Eddie Murphy during his prime, but now, Joe Rogan.
What is your favorite curse word?
quack! I was once told that if you take a girl out and then you have sex with her, you Scrogged, you quacked her. To this guy, and many others Scrog is synonymous with fuck. Go figure. I wonder how that played with the naming of the Scholarship?
If you could fight any historical figure, who would you fight?
Hitler or Napoleon, I think I could kick both of their asses, at the same time. Imagine how much play I would get if I kicked Hitler's ass!
If you could take one of the top 3 billed acts on this years line-up and change them for another band in the same genre, who would you change for who? (Radiohead for Eminem is not an acceptable answer)
Who ever I could replace with Pearl Jam. Sorry AF.
Since you want to replace AF with Pearl Jam, what is your favorite PJ song? Where have you most recently seen them play? What band are you most looking forward to at Bonnaroo next week? Who are you going to do your best to avoid? Where did you grow up and would you want to raise a family there?
What is your worst conflict this year? Scissor Sisters, Doctor John and the Original Meters, or Omar Souleyman? Favorite live performance(s) of all time? Favorite Beach Boys song? What got you into nursin'?
Since you want to replace AF with Pearl Jam, what is your favorite PJ song?
That would be my all time favorite song, Black. We all have had the one person we wanted to ask, "Why can you not be the sun in my sky." and I still think of her today, 20 years later.
Where have you most recently seen them play?
I saw them in Tampa about 8 years ago. I bought 4 tickets, the people/friends who said, "yeah that sounds awesome! I will go." Well, come concert time, things came up, and they were unable to go. so I was left with 3 extra tickets, and the concert is that weekend, I called everyone I knew and people were out of town or had prior comments. I ended up going by myself. I gave couple of strangers a ride to Tampa, they were broke down along I-75 and I almost gave them the extra tickets, but I was poor and needed some beer money, so the tix got scalped.
What band are you most looking forward to at Bonnaroo next week?
I am really excited to see Black Keys and SCI, but I can not wait for Dr John.
Who are you going to do your best to avoid?
I am not going to name any names. SAT it is not you.
Oh, you mean music? I am open to all music.
Where did you grow up and would you want to raise a family there?
Born and raised in Belleview FL, which is 15 minutes south of Ocala, FL. All my family is here, so yeah this would be a good place to raise a family, but there are other places I would rather settle down. Maybe somewhere in the Carolinas.
SCI and Dr. John. I have never seen SCI and was very excited to see them, but I can not miss Dr. John! and I think or hope SCI will play until the sun comes up.
Scissor Sisters, Doctor John and the Original Meters, or Omar Souleyman?
Doctor John!
Favorite live performance(s) of all time?
It is a toss up between Flaming lips last year and Metallica 15 years ago in Tampa FL.
Favorite Beach Boys song?
I am going to duck in 3....2.....I am not a fan of the Beach Boys. Maybe, I need help on this one, Rhonda where you at?
What got you into nursin'?
Money! I was just out of hight school and my step mom told me about RNs making $48 an hour. 5 years later I decided to follow up on that and I have a problem, I like to give, I like to make people happy and smile and laugh. If others are happy around me, than I am happy. That carries over into my career choice of nursing.
Nope, When I take off my shoes, I can still count to 20.
What's your favorite camping meal?
Is Bacon a meal? Almost anything on the grill, camp fire food always taste better. Also, I like to make a large pot of Homemade Ckn noodle soup, bag it in Zip lock bag or vacuum seal it, freeze it, put it in the cooler with dry ice, then drop that into a pot of bolling water at camp. Soup is good!
welcome to the BMOTM Club! it's a special honor being "Mr. June" - congrats!

2. Will I be needin' to do a happy dance of any kind at the brunch?
3. Spicy Pie. Yay or nay?
4. Any particular vendor foods that you may be lookin' forward to? Personally I'm so ready fer some damn gator.

welcome to the BMOTM Club! it's a special honor being "Mr. June" - congrats!
Thank you! I can see why Mr June is special and I am very honored, but I laughed when I looked back at the past year BMotM Mr June and it was sang. STG is awesome, but Sang has that uniqueness.
OK, ~5 random Qs:
* do you still keep in touch (in any way, shape, or form!) w/the girl who deflowered you?
No, have not seen her in 20years.
* let's say after 'Roo, somebody gives you a pet that you must keep: a. what kind of animal is it?
KangaROO
b. what do you name it? and
Quzar
c. what's the reason for that name?
names are our symbols and giving something a name should represent the being that the name is bestowed upon. The Kangaroo would hold strong ties to Bonnaroo and the name Quzar represents something that I have strong ties to Bonnaroo and that is the QSARS, the Quacking-Scrog-A-Roo(TM) scholarship. Quzar has a built in pouch, what a cool ass pet.
* besides the playa, what are 3 of your favorite places on the planet?
1st, at the beach, although I do not get there enough, 2nd, at the table(for Breakfast, lunch, or dinner) I love to eat, and 3rd, in the under the ocean water caves that ET/ the aliens reside in, I think its in the Atlantic, off the coast of Florida.
* what's your favorite munchies snack?
Doritos or Cheetos. I also have a big sweet tooth and love chocolate chip cookies and the Little Debbie's, I love the Christmas Tree ones.
* if you could magically go back in time & give advice to the 18-yr old Scrog, what would you tell him?
After telling myself in 2008 go to Roo, I would tell myself the winning Florida lottery numbers for the Florida lottery next Saturday, are 15 27 28 36 40 49
Damn holls, you got some great questions I wish I had asked! I'll come up short in comparison with my round two.
1. My Morning Jacket's Circuital, have you heard it? Thoughts? If not, why haven't you listened to it yet? Are you plannin' to see their surely to be tubular set this year? If not, why?
to be honest I have not listened to MMJ, that much up until now. Why is that? I do not know, but I fucking dig them. I like the album and I am excited to have them starting my Friday night trip.
2. Will I be needin' to do a happy dance of any kind at the brunch?
Yes, because when it is all said and done, I hope we all, everybody will join in with their happy dances, and start dancing, something like a Inforoo Brunch Dance Party USA.
3. Spicy Pie. Yay or nay?
have not had one, will this year, and I think I have a good idae of people's judgment and from what I hear, I can go a head now and say, Yay!
4. Any particular vendor foods that you may be lookin' forward to? Personally I'm so ready fer some damn gator.
I hope that is not a dig at me being from Florida and a huge Florida Gator fan, because now I will have to show you my grappling techniques in a match of strength, power, and endurance. I am looking forward to the food trucks. ;D Looks to have a local Tampa Taco Vendor. I also want a garlic grilled cheese and the pestomodzilla thing sounds delicious.
5. How much nom would a corncat nom, if a corncat could nom nom?
As much nom as a corncat would nom, if a corncat could nom nom.
6. What is the meanin' of life, the universe, and everythin'?
* What's the strangest critter you've ever encountered & where? (this excludes any variety of female picked up in an establishment where alcohol is served, in case you wondered)
* what's the most unexpected perk of your job?
* what's the best prank you ever pulled on somebody?
* what's your favorite thing to put in your mouth? (aaah, yes...the requisite loaded question!)
* does the carpet match the drapes? (hmm...is this a loaded question or not? you decide!)
Alright, round 2, I hope my last score of 42 is good enough.
* What's the strangest critter you've ever encountered & where? (this excludes any variety of female picked up in an establishment where alcohol is served, in case you wondered)
Lampyridae, or more commonly known as a Lightning Bug or Firefly. I loved these as a kid, catch them and put them in jars, was the meanest thing we could have done, but we did not know any better, I just wanted a jar of cool things that light up. How do they do that? I still chase them today. I swore I saw some on the farm on Thursday night last year and I was sober when I saw them. No, really I was.
* what's the most unexpected perk of your job?
I violate people in ways, that could get me arrested, beat up, or even shot, outside the area I practice in. I like to stick people with needles. Also, in my profession, I am the minority. Not only am I a male in a female dominate environment, I am also a straight male in a female dominate environment. Lets just say I get a lot of "perks" .
* what's the best prank you ever pulled on somebody?
Best? not sure, I have some favorites. At work, we have antibacterial hand gel, we use to clean our hands before we enter and when we leave a patients room. It is a clear, odorless. Anyways, I like to squeeze some of that on the receiver end of the hand set on one of the many land-line phones in our unit. I will pick one close to where the one to be pranked is sitting, then wait for that nurse to return and given them a call. For some reason people really hate putting a cool, semen consistency fluid in their ear. Who knew? Then there is in the crowed/full elevator, just loud enough where everyone can hear you, ask your friend,"so that rash between your legs, how is the cream that I gave you working out?" Or some variation around that, I look for a random cough by them and then drop the line. The reactions are priceles, from your friend, but more from the people around you.
* what's your favorite thing to put in your mouth? (aaah, yes...the requisite loaded question!)
Well this depends on if I am hungry, horny, or looking to get high. Grits n' eggs is my favorite meal.
* does the carpet match the drapes? (hmm...is this a loaded question or not? you decide!)
No, from where I am sitting, we have blinds up, no drapes and I have a bald melon, while being retro down below. Not at this time, but maybe for Roo.
What's the best thing about living in Gainesville? If you had unlimited funds and time, where would you travel and what would you do there? What area of nursing are you in (cardio lab, ER, etc)? Do you follow any professional sports teams? What was the first concert you ever attended?
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
What's the best thing about living in Gainesville?
actually I live in Ocala now, which is about 30-40 minutes south of Gainesville. The best part of Gainesville, Freshmen College Girls! because as I get older, they stay the same age. seriously though, The younger scene is the best part of Gainesville, it brings creativity and art into the area and I enjoy that. I am also a big Gator fan and love tailgating on the fall weekends.
If you had unlimited funds and time, where would you travel and what would you do there?
I would go to the moon. I would do everything. It would be like when I first started cheifing. No not chafing, but Cheifing, puffing, inhaling and best explained in Half-Baked, but going to the moon, I would want to do everything, "Yeah, cliff diving is fun on earth, but have you tried it on the Moon? or Parkour is a cool form of art on Earth, but have you tried it on the moon? Smoking weed is cool on earth, but have you tried it on the Moon?! Talk about being in outer space.
What area of nursing are you in (cardio lab, ER, etc)?
I work in the Intensive Care Unit at a small hospital.
It was before anybody had every heard of him, but my first concert was at the Strawberry festival in Plant city I saw Garth Brooks, between the pig races and funnel cakes, there he was singing about friends in low places.
hi Scrog! Most every RN that I know has a particular thing that makes them a little, or a lot, squeamish. for instance, I can look at wounds, trachs, etc. all day long - used to work in GI and had to look at and smell all sorts of crap (literally!) but doing mouth care when I was an RN used to make me have to hold my breath so as not to gag. I can look in throats and mouths all day long now doing exams... and can drain a peritonsillar abcess, but don't make me clean anyone's teeth please!!!!
Do not have a lot of vinyl, nor never had a quality record player. I have a lot of CDs.
Leather or lace?
I find lace to be way more sexier than leather.
Which is better, Day shift or night shift?
I have always worked night shift and enjoy it that way, but I am thinking working days is better on the body.
What one thing would you change about the world if you could? Only one.
That one day the human race can break these chains, we can escape from the monkey mentality that is inside us all and realize it is not about you or me or we, but it is about so much more. watch this:
You posted a great post about the order to place items in your cooler. I can't find it. What is that order again?
Best thing for a cooler is to freeze as much water or freeze able drinks(Gatorade and stuff) as you can before hand. Large blocks of ice melt slower than the smaller cubes. Buy some liter(or larger if you have room, like a gallon) bottles of water and freeze them in you freezer before you leave. When packing a regular cooler it is best to put the frozen bottles on the bottom of your cooler first, followed by cans and such, then the cubed Ice, then food. The frozen bottles of water and such will given a nice solid foundation of frozeness. Your cans will be stacked on, in between, or wherever they will fit around the frozen bottles. Next cover with bags of ice. Do not mix these steps up, Ice before cans=NO GOOD, cans before ice and everything fits nice. Last put your food stuff on top of the ice, where ever you can fit it. Stuff it in the ice, or even put some of it in the cooler, after you put the cans in, and cover it with ice as well. With food, you do not want to cross contaminate. Do not let raw meat come in contact with anything that will be put in your mouth before it is thoroughly cooked! Ziplocks work great sealing up meats, cheeses, veggies, and anything you want to put in your cooler. Melted cooler water and food do not mix. I would recommend a separate cooler for ice that you are going to make drinks with. It can be a small cooler, or anything, just so you keep you drink ice clean. Now, Dry Ice? I love dry ice when camping. "As a general rule, Dry Ice will sublimate at a rate of five to ten pounds every 24 hours in a typical ice chest", quoted from here. Do you have room for two coolers? Yes. Then designate one of those coolers as a dry ice cooler. ONLY OPEN THAT COOLER WHEN ABSOLUTELY NEEDED! Like once/day. Only put stuff in there that would not hurt if frozen, dry ice will make your cooler a freezer. Only have one cooler? Then put the dry ice on the bottom, cover with news paper, and place your frozen bottles or any thing frozen on top of the newspaper/dry ice. News paper will protected your frozen stuff from the dry Ice. Water will speed up the rate your dry ice melts! If using the dry ice beware of putting cubed ice in that cooler. When the cubed ice melts, it will then speed up the melting of your dry ice. 50lbs should be more than plenty enough to last all weekend. It depends on how often you open your cooler. The more you open a cooler with dry ice or any ice for that matter, the faster it will melt. I bought 20lbs last year on Wednesday and it lasted me until Saturday and so I had frozen bottles of water on Sunday. Find your local ice distributor and buy from them, they should have a better deal than the grocery store. Or click here.Try to get the slabs or blocks rather than the pellets. Like regular ice, surface area determines how fast dry ice melts or sublimates. It happens faster with smaller(pellets) then the larger chunks(slabs or blocks). Wear Gloves when handling dry ice. It melts at at -110F. That means it is -110F below frozen. That means it is -110F degrees to touch. It will freezer burn your skin in seconds. Always have good ventilation with handling dry ice. Dry Ice is frozen CO2, when it melts, it goes from a solid straight to a gas, in turn release carbon dioxide. Too much CO2 and we die. Never put that cooler containing dry ice in an enclosed area, like your car, without any ventilation. With that being said Dry Ice is a very safe product to use. I have it many times and have never been disappointed, rather the opposite. Just be smart and follow the rules.

So, what's your weakness?
As I sit here and think about it, I can not think of any weakness, although they are never under my care, only if I float to the ED, but kids, I do not do well with kids. I love them! Want to have them. Love to play games and stuff with them, but taking care of them. It gets me.
* I was at a 4-day festival during my tenure as BMOTM, and lemme tell 'ya, it can be hard to answer questions then. How do you plan to stay on top of your duties while on the Farm?
* You live in horse country: do you ride?
* Which albums/groups most influenced your current musical tastes?
* Which groups/artists are on your musical "Bucket List" of shows to catch in your lifetime?
and finally, the "open to interpretation" question
* I was at a 4-day festival during my tenure as BMOTM, and lemme tell 'ya, it can be hard to answer questions then. How do you plan to stay on top of your duties while on the Farm?
Well I am assuming people stop using Inforoo come next wednesday/thursday, unless you are unable to go, for which I am sorry someone could not make it to Roo, wish you were here!, but who at Roo is on Inforoo? I guess if you see me you can ask me a question. and I will answer it or at least try to.
* You live in horse country: do you ride?
As a kid I rode a horse with my cousin, it killed my balls! and horses are expensive to keep and ride, I mean they eat like a, well, like a horse.
* Which albums/groups most influenced your current musical tastes?
In high school rap and hip hop were up and coming. South beach, just 9 hours down the rode was blowing up and the main contributor was 2 Live Crew, cussing and talking about pussy and chicks, as high school kids we ate it up and the beats, the bass was big! and that was completely different from what my brother introduced me to, Def Leppard, and 80s hair band Rock n Roll. But the CD the defined me, the one influenced my musical taste, is TEN, by Pearl Jam. It opened the door, it was the gateway drug for me. ;D
* Which groups/artists are on your musical "Bucket List" of shows to catch in your lifetime?
