how do you have over 3000 posts in less than a year? That's a really good question; when I was working an office-based job, on days where I wasn't very busy I was prone to posting a lot because, why not? There are plenty of days though where I won't check inforoo but a handful of times, some days not at all. I think it is also simply because I forum-post like I interact in real life - when a thought comes to me, I often express it aloud/write it out (as is the case here), and if another one comes to me in 10 minutes...well, I might go ahead and express that one too haha.
Pizza- deep dish or thin crust? Thin crust! NY style, with ranch dressing for dipping sauce.
what do you love most about dogs? Their eyes - full of so much love! And the way they wag their tails. And get so excited when you scratch their bellies. Hehe dogs are so great.
Have you met anyone from inforoo as of yet? Who is on your short list of posters you would like to hang out with? Yeah, Farrisbueller and I have hung out quite a few times in the real world. Feels like I've met RandyAnal lol but ~technically~ have not. Will meet a cluster of lovely inforoosters at Landmark very soon!
And it is you, Davie. Just you that I wanna meet. The ultimate dream. Honestly though - a good number of inforoo people that I've been wanting to meet for a while will be at Landmark, so that'll be fun. Jaz was maybe the first poster who I had side convo in PMs with, soon after joining, and felt like I would hit it off with in real life and would like to meet some day. But there are lots of people I feel that way about now! (And yes, Dave Maynar , you are one of them)
What do you feel is the most significant event of your childhood? This one is easy, if 9th grade is allowed to count as childhood. Getting hit by a car. Hard. Was maybe not gonna be able to walk again (the doctors waiting to tell me that of course until after I had improved enough that it was no longer a concern), definitely framed my perspective and strengthened my character in a very formative way.

Yay! I got these from a "getting to know your crush" website:
What’s your worst habit? What fictional character do you have the biggest crush on? What “most likely to” superlative would you be most honored to receive? What’s been your favorite age so far? If you were a performing artist, what would you title your first album? If earth could only have one condiment for the rest of time, what would you pick to keep around? What is the ideal number of people to have over on a Friday night? What is the weirdest thing you find attractive in a person? What is something you’re superstitious about? What Jeopardy! category would you clear, no problem?
Yay! I got these from a "getting to know your crush" website:
What’s your worst habit? Health-wise, I guess drinking fairly often (though not very regularly to excess - college days are ova) and sometimes still smoking cigs, though I almost exclusively vape now. Behavior-wise, I am chronically late, but the people who are close to me have just learned to accommodate (because I've tried to fix this issue, but I rly can't seem to) by telling me to arrive somewhere 15 minutes before they actually mean, and then we show up around the same time! Problem solved.
What fictional character do you have the biggest crush on? Lol so many ways I could go with this: I'm kinda in love with both Allie and Noah in the Notebook (because Rachel and Ryan are so gorgeous) and just want to insert myself into that couple and live happily ever after; was pretty obsessed with Jackie from That 70s Show as a pre-teen but thats because duh Mila; love the shit outta Dr. House. From novels - too many to list. I get crushes on characters from novels I feel invested in alllllll the time
What “most likely to” superlative would you be most honored to receive? "Most likely to successfully form a functioning and happy commune with all my favorite ppl to live in the middle of the woods." Is that a superlative people receive ever? Idk, or I guess like "Most likely to Start a Revolution."
What’s been your favorite age so far? 17 was really good because I had such a wonderful group of high school friends who I got to spend so much of my time with during senior year; I felt that way about senior year of college too though, so I guess 21 was also great.
Only a few months into it, but 23 is gonna be even better!!! (I'll let you know if I really felt this way, come May 2016)
If you were a performing artist, what would you title your first album? I'd Rather Be Spooning.
If earth could only have one condiment for the rest of time, what would you pick to keep around? Don't even have to think on it - honey mustard. I do luv ketchup and ranch dressing too though.
What is the ideal number of people to have over on a Friday night? 3 (+me) because that's the perfect number to play Settlers of Catan. And a lot of the other best board & card games. But Friday night can be a great time to spend with a lover, so 1+me can be really lovely too.
What is the weirdest thing you find attractive in a person? Ears! My lover person right now has the cutest fucking ears of ever, so bitable and just adorable, and I never before thought of them as something that can be particularly attractive, but now I do.
Also, I guess some would consider the weirdest thing I find attractive in a person to be, like, actual weirdness. People who go on random tangents about their bizarre thoughts and ideas and theories=turn-on in my book.
What is something you’re superstitious about? I knock on wood sometimes for good luck - does that count?
What Jeopardy! category would you clear, no problem? Literature.

How do you really feel about Jukely? I think it is an amazing service! So many kudos to whoever created it. But I'm kinda sad that DC seems to already have less shows available on it than they did last month....makes me think they're tryna get me to upgrade. And lets be real, I probably will....
How many states have you been to? 15 + DC (obv), if I counted correctly.
How many countries (besides America) have you been to? Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic - 6.
What's your favorite thing about living in DC? Lots to do (and new people to meet), and not just in the city; I'm close driving distance to really beautiful outdoorsy spots of both VA and MD (e.g. the river).
Also my neighborhood has so many bunnies running around - it is pretty dope.
What's the worst thing about living in DC? Shit can get expensive, yo. Also the prototypical "DC business person" is fairly easy to avoid (just don't go hang out near the Hill or at the bars that they swarm for happy hour), but when you do run into them, it is quite awful.
What's your favorite venue(s) to see a show? In DC, both U Hall and 930 Club are fantastic. And, Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill will forever hold a very special place in my heart.
What artist/band have you seen the most times? There's a handful that I have seen thrice, and many that I have seen twice, but to be honest I didn't start regularly going to live music until 2-3 years ago.
In terms of most times seeing someone within the smallest timeframe, absolutely Sufjan - three times over the span of one month. #WORTHIT
What do you want to see, and surprisingly haven't yet? Fucking A, Neutral Milk. I know I messed up there badly. At Roo '14 my whole group wanted to go to Vampire Weekend and then straight to Phoenix, and I just didn't feel confident dipping out for NMH and finding them again for Phoenix and blah bah, it is a major regret.
I really really want to see Radiohead, but I wouldn't say it is surprising that I haven't yet, especially given that I only started regularly going to live shows within the past couple years. I'll make it happen though - I will!! Anyone with me?
Do you like sports? Meh. Grew up watching UNC basketball pretty religiously; sports don't generally hold my attention for very long though. I would rather sit around and argue about a theoretical idea with friends than sit around a tv and yell at the screen/players you don't even know. As for playing them - I prefer staying active in other ways, not through organized sports.
Why are you super banned? I think it was because of a comment I made that insinuated that Bey isn't the best of all singers of ever.
What's your favorite thing from Dunkin Donuts? I don't particularly like doughnuts......... But I guess one of the Krueller ones?

This used to be one of my favorite threads. Hoping rummy gets this back on track.

I almost want to cry, because I spent another 30 minutes on it. And I enabled "save draft" but can't find where that button is anywhere???? I'm so mad. abrakapokus I have so many thoughts, and they have been deleted twice. Im annoyed as shit.

Legitimately about to cry. I also wanted to save that in a word document because it was a reflection on a lot of things really important to me, and I hadn't written it out before like that.

I want to ask some questions but also don't want to overload Rummy while she is frustrated. Just putting this here to remind myself to ask questions later.
