What was the first Pixies song you heard? What is your favorite Pixies song? How do you feel about the upcoming return of Beavis & Butthead? What was your favorite moment at the pool party? What is your favorite kind of cheese?
Run to the nearest Primus show. A little known fact: pterodactyl's are memorized by live Primus... they are instantly rendered harmless when they come in earshot.
What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?
Love is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I know love isn't tangible, but what I mean is what love does to people... like the way a couple in love acts towards each other when no one is looking or the way a new mother looks at her newborn child.
I'd have to say everything about the Scavenger Hunts: making up the entry cards, finding people to participate, and being awed at the effort that all the winners put into it.
Oh man, so tough to pick one day out of 4 amazing ones. If I had to though I'd say I had the most fun during the Sunday (Spunday) shenanigans: the Dark Star show with everyone and leaving early to go on a solo beer hunting expedition through the nearby campgrounds, riding the ferris wheel at sunset (and getting put in the yellow bucket with the Do No Harm sticker on it), talking to Huzzah's tent for an hour, our group adventure through the camp ground Sunday night looking for people who were partying ("Are you guys partyin' tonight?") and coming across Team Fun ("No is an unacceptable answer!"), seeing a bunch of our stuff mysteriously end up on the trade table, and running into our pterodactyl several campgrounds away.
I can remember listening to Doolittle for the first time, so I guess it would be "Debaser" (although I'm pretty sure I'd heard "Where Is My Mind" before since it's their most popular song).
I enjoyed every moment (well except for one moment when a drunk girl told me I should hold my arm in front of my stomach if I was worried how it would look in a picture - GRRR). The moments did get funnier as the night went on... I have a short video I can share via text if anyone's interested. It features the voices of SFA and WBM talking about a certain animal's masturbation souvenirs
Where did the Smiley King take you for dinner last night?
We didn't go out last night. We hung out in the pool all day with Holls and SFA (we had to finish the kegs ;D) and when they left we went to bed early. We were both exhausted. The last week and a half have been very busy. We're going out to celebrate our anniversary tomorrow night... apparently he's made reservations somewhere
What do you think of Google+ thus far? What do you like best and least about it in comparison to the competitors? Do you think it will overtake Facebook, and if so - how long until it happens?
Let's say one accidentally and unintentionally did some harm. How would one rectify that?
Accidents happen. We all accidentally do harm which is probably unintentional. These harms are more than likely rectified with an apology and payment for or replacement of any loss of property.
Unintentional harm is not necessarily accidental and can be more difficult to rectify. For example, I said something to my boyfriend that unintentionally hurt his feelings. I didn't say it accidentally, but the harm it caused was unintentional. It can take more than a simple apology to right this wrong. Most likely it would take an apology and an intentional change in behavior to prevent future unintentional harms of this nature.
Is this your preferred location for answering your BMOTM questions?
OMG Sarah in a bikini Haha
Actually, that's my preferred location for just about everything, minus sleep because I can see that as being dangerous.
What's even more funny to me about this photo is it captures one of my secret quirks. See how I'm standing on one foot? For some reason I have a habit of standing like that when I'm barefoot, with either one foot on top of the other or with the bottom of one foot flat against the inside of the other leg. I'm more conscious of it now that it's been pointed out to me by several people. I wonder how common it is...
What do you like best and least about it in comparison to the competitors?
I like that you can edit your posts, which annoys me about facebook. I love the lack of ads, which also annoys me about facebook. I like how easy it is to control what content specific "friends" see. I like being able to see what my profile looks like to other (specific) people. Maybe I can't find it, but it seems like there's no "wall" space to write on someone's profile. G+ would be better if all my FB friends were on there
Do you think it will overtake Facebook, and if so - how long until it happens?
I think if anyone can overtake FB, it's Google. I mean, I don't know of many people who don't have a gmail account. G+ is enough like FB (unlike Twitter), but with some major improvements, that I think it will catch on. With all the ads and spam, FB is slowly becoming what Myspace eventually became. I think as soon as Google opens G+ up to businesses it will only be a matter of time. I'll give it about a year before more of my friends are on G+ than FB.
I showed up to my first Bonnaroo with only a borrowed tent (with missing pieces), two chairs, and a cooler. I had a terrible sunburn by 10am Friday morning and I got post-roo pneumonia. I knew if I ever went back I needed to put some research into how to Roo safely. I lurked for months before signing up and even after signing up it took me a couple years to start posting regularly.
I've only Monday'd a few people. I've actually accidentally Monday'd more than I have on purpose. I use Inforoo from my browser on my phone a lot and sometimes when I've tried to click on a person's name to see their profile I would click Monday instead. I've since learned to zoom in before clicking on screen names. For the record, anytime I've accidentally Monday'd I've always gone back and Friday'd the person when I could (or had Mike go and Friday them for me).
I recently had a male therapist that was accused of inappropriate touch by this crazy bitch. I knew it wasn't true, everyone knew it wasn't true. There was an investigation by law enforcement where they interviewed them both several times, on the phone and in person, using some sort of voice analysis to see who was telling the truth. He was cleared, but the situation was so fucked up. We had to put him on a leave of absence since there were charges filed. It took several weeks for the investigation to be completed and when it was he was unsure about continuing to do massage because of the situation. This couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. He's a single dad who struggles to support his daughters. He's a great therapist and a great employee. He has since decided to come back, but work at one of our other locations.
You manage a lot of people; have you ever fired anyone? If yes, why?
We have a saying... "we don't fire people, people fire themselves"
But, yes, I've fired several people. I'd say roughly 20 over the years. Most were people I let go within the first couple weeks of training because they weren't a good fit for us.
1. Fuck Kayne or forgive Kayne and let him come back to 'Roo? 2. What type of cell phone do you have? 3. Do you have a regular laundry day? 4. What should I do fer lunch? 5. Only five days left, have you enjoyed bein' BMotM? 6. Would you recommend All Good to someone who doesn't normally care a lot fer the lineup?
Do you regularly spoil yourself with an item that is not a necessity? (I spend $5.00 a week on fresh flowers.)
Do you remember your dreams? Any recurring ones or one that you remember vividly?
Favorite Halloween costume as a child?
Will you ever come to the DC area to visit?
What should I get Dan for his birfday? Under $100.
My liquor store has spice grinder with a big yellow smiley on the top. It's not high quality, should I buy it for my awesome friend that recently lost his? (Almost did last Friday.)

July has been one of the most fun months of my whole life and being BMOTM was a fantastic addition. I know it's not over yet and I'm still looking forward to answering everyone's questions for the next few days, but it is almost time to pass the torch.
I'm asking for some help with this decision. If you have someone in mind that you think deserves the honor or maybe someone that you'd like to torture with hundreds of questions then please PM me your nom-nom-nomination.
I'll get back to answering more questions this evening after work... have a great day everyone!
5. Only five days left, have you enjoyed bein' BMotM?
YES! Although, I have felt at times that I haven't kept up well because this month has been so busy. I really appreciate everyone asking questions. I hope that my answers have been at least somewhat entertaining.
6. Would you recommend All Good to someone who doesn't normally care a lot fer the lineup?
For sure! I do realize that the lineup isn't for everyone, but for me the fun of AG isn't going to shows all day everyday. A big part of the fun comes in the campgrounds. Camp Infogood is always a great time! We're entertaining enough to warrant the $200 (much less if you buy early) for a ticket.
French fries, especially waffle fries from Chic Fil A... holy gosh. Did you know you can get them at breakfast time? It takes about 5 minutes, but yeah they'll make 'em for you!
Do you regularly spoil yourself with an item that is not a necessity? (I spend $5.00 a week on fresh flowers.)
I spend a lot of money on expensive hair products and getting my hair done. My hair is very important to me. I love having short hair and I enjoy changing the color and style often. I've had about 20-30 different cut/color styles over the last 5 years (and the pictures to prove it haha )
Do you remember your dreams? Any recurring ones or one that you remember vividly?
I rarely remember my dreams and when I do it's the unpleasant ones. Even then I don't remember them for long. I'm kinda glad I don't remember my dreams though, for the same reason I can't handle psychedelics... I'm easily overwhelmed and freaked out.
I honestly don't remember any one costume in particular from my childhood, but I absolutely love Halloween. My birthday is the 27th so I've often had costume birthday parties.
Here's a picture from each of the last 3 I've had:
2007 - Naughty French Maid
2008 - Snow White
2009 - Anna Nicole as Marilyn Monroe (my favorite costume ever!)
My liquor store has spice grinder with a big yellow smiley on the top. It's not high quality, should I buy it for my awesome friend that recently lost his? (Almost did last Friday.)
Yes! I totally forgot about replacing his spice grinder for his birthday! He definitely needs one...
Absolutely, now... or sooner! Seriously, we're talking about coming up before the year is over. Can we crash on your couch?
Well, I don't know Dan very well, but from what I do know of him I think he might enjoy a keg of Yuengling
An abbreviated quote:
If there was a free Virgin Free Fest ticket...would a trip to DC be more lucrative? This is a huge maybe right now.
Also, while I'm not Bunny's Dan, I figured I'd make a comment on my love of Yuengling as well! America's oldest brewery WOO!
Now more questions!
1. What local brews in your area are you a fan of, if any? 2. If, (and I BIG if) I can plan a trip down to Nashvegas (now that the pool party dealio is over [sad face]) when might be a great time to do so with other inforoosters? 3. What plans do you have fer your Halloween costume this year? 4. Have you watched Stop Making Sense yet? 5. Why George Carlin over Bill Hicks? 6. Is it strange that I count in increments of the number three but really dislike the number six?
Only one: my pinky toe on my right foot about 2 or 3 years ago. I was doing some drunken swing dancing in a poorly lit room and the leg of a really heavy wooden chair ran into my foot I didn't hardly feel anything at the time. The next morning as I put my feet on the floor getting out of bed I feel over and screamed out in pain. My whole toe was purplish black. We were leaving the next morning to go hiking on Mt Eagle before going to Chattanooga for the weekend. I could barely walk and couldn't wear a real shoe. Obviously we had to cancel the hiking and I had to hobble around all weekend. It took weeks to heal and still bothers me from time to time.
A place you'd love to visit if money and time weren't an issue?
There are lots of places I would love to visit like Europe and Australia, but my #1 desired destination is Brazil. I love Brazilian culture and the landscapes. I mean, look at this:
I'm going. As soon as I lose 20 more lbs, I'm going to start planning it. Who knows, maybe I'll go there next summer instead of doing any festivals or maybe I'll go there in 2013 instead of Glasto. Or hell, maybe in a couple years I'll get a honeymoon in Brazil ;D
I've always wanted a dog named Walter. I tried to convince my mom to name their new dachshund Walter, they went with Izzy (an inferior name IMO ). So since I'm not at a point in my life when owning a dog is a good idea, I named my pillow pet dog Walter. (He recently got a friend... a baby pillow pet turtle who still lacks a name. Any ideas?)
Anyways, I'd definitely let you use the name Walter. There needs to be more dogs named Walter in this world.
Can you recommend to me a good book? (something mind stimulating, no romance or BS like that)
I highly recommend the last book I read: Andre Agassi's autobiography. It was very entertaining, couldn't put it down. I enjoy reading autobiographies and this was the best I've ever read.
My favorite book of all time is The Princess Bride: S. Morgenstern's Classic Tale of True Love and High Adventure by William Goldman. I know you said no romance, but I swear if you haven't read it, you should give this book a chance. It's very clever and full of adventure. (Yeah, it's a movie, but not surprisingly the book is better.) If you are interested I'll send you my very worn copy. I'd be extremely surprised if by the first 20 pages you weren't hooked.
Tell me why you and your man can not come to Florida in Novemberl and Bear Creek?
Well, I wouldn't say that we can't go. There isn't really a big draw on that lineup for me. Blackwater's lineup is more appealing to me.
I'm not saying that I'm not going to another festival this year, but I've done 8 festivals in the last 14 months. The last two were pretty physically and mentally draining (still incredibly fun!) and I feel just about festival'd out. I think a respite from festivals may be in order. I want to take a couple of non-festival trips in the near future.
