So i've decided to still go, i can't just throw roo out the window. It seems these will be the last four days i'll get to spend with her, i might as well cut my losses and make the most of it. I'm not sure how the roo will be for me with all this on my head, but who knows, maybe she'll change her mind during roo. At least it's four more days to hold on to, i suppose.

Dude, you are like 17 years old. High school maybe, college (maybe) soon. Stop being so emo. I would say this is a great development for you. Go slay em my friend. As someone on the twilight of asshole years, I am begging you to move on quickly and party. You need to hook up with some beezy right next to her. Only. Young. Once. (unless the future is sweeter than i anticipate!)

However we do live together ever since her father did the most selfish thing possible and is no longer here (can't really find the words to say that) and have been together for 2 years, i wouldn't really consider it a simple high school relationship (also for the fact that i'm in college, lol) However view it how you will. it hits me hard as this is also my best friend who knew me like the back of your hand and visa-versa. I suppose there will eventually be bigger and better things though, i just can't see it right now you get some heady for giving me a laugh though, haha (edit: or not because you don't have em', take some karma instead)

this always happens on the damn internet where people make a general life assumption and then surprise surprise, there is a factor that no one could possibly know about. i just committed the crime. damn. anyways, ive gone though the tough, young age break up. nearly ruined an idyllic minnesota lake trip one time cuz i was so bummed. my friends make fun of me for it to this day (all in good jest). there is no doubt that i was like shit, never will i have it so good. this is true. i too, got super emo about it. but hey. met another girl from kansas city and now we just moved into an apartment. nuts will work out. college is a good place to be. roo will help too.
bummer your girl did you like that tho. after taking her in and helping her out. damn women. good luck to ya.

I had the same crap goin on, but long distance stuff..... we were goin to the roo after i bought tix. Now im left with one. shes gone. I understand how u feel but hey if u were that close maybe u need some time. itll come back together. Im still going solo, but i do know 2 others that im going to meet up with that i have chilled with once or twice...shitty i got screwed with a ticket, but im sure it wont matter when im all set up and having a good time
Well I have decided to take the plunge. I scored a single vip ticket for under cost on ebay. I have now riddled myself with more debt that I cannot afford but oh well. I know it will be worth every penny and if I had stayed home I would have regretted it for years. Thanks for all the kind words and support in this thread. Really never expected it to have as many replies as it did. See you all on the farm!

good for you man. and i'm sure you can hook up with some people to ride with if you start posting in whatever portion of this board is for rides/caravans. you'll meet a ton of people, probably get stinko at least once, and rock out to great music. you win.
