What I'm looking for specifically is a free program (compatible with Windows XP) where you can remove certain tracks or portions from MP3's (like the drums or guitars). I'm trying to play along with songs with the bass, drums, and vocals only and I dont want to buy an actual 4 or 8 track recorder you plug into.
I currently have Audacity and I'm not real tech savy but I haven't found that feature anywhere on it. Anyway, any help is greatly appreciated!
