man the kamp krusty poster is incredible. but i have to vote for monarch. that lineup is unreal. there are more bands i like on that poster than any other (except my own). but krusty should win something just for that poster. wow.

I agree that this could have been a great final round, especially with the lackluster/over-the-top choices from Rounds 1 and 2. Monarch's got great feasible line-up, wonderful poster, but an iffy area. Kamp Krusty has a fantastic "small tier" line-up, nice trademark infringement poster, and a perfect location.
Tough call. Very tough call. Going to vote for Kamp Krusty because it's not trying to outdo in terms of sheer overpowering number of artists, unlike most of the of the competition.

Both really good festivals. I really like Monarch, but I absolutely love Krusty. It easily has the best looking poster out of any in the running. And the lineup is really awesome for a midsize festival - if anything, my biggest issue with this is that you're probably overcharging on tickets. I see tickets for this selling for under $200. You don't have any colossal classic rock acts headlining - it's names like Springsteen and Cream that end up running up ticket prices. Instead, the Krusty headliners are killer acts that would normally open or follow the huge names. They're just as good, and you can count on them to put on a more energetic show because they're still at their prime (or at least coming off it). Practically every name that follows resonates as an act I would like to see, and Krusty manages to do so without grabbing any of the obvious names like Yeah Yeah Yeahs or TVotR. Modest Mouse is maybe billed a bit low, but that's nitpicking. All said, this is an awesome poster and a lineup I would absolutely love to see. I would pick this festival over any other lineup this year. What's remarkable is that the lineup remains very reasonable.
Which is not to say that Monarch isn't a good lineup. But next to Krusty it's a wall of names, some of which I like, whereas Krusty is a list of artists I would absolutely love to see live.

Argh, another tough one! I think I have to go with Monarch because, when I'm counting, I count quite a few more bands on Monarch's lineup that I would be really excited to see. There are a few real gems on Krusty's, though, and the Krusty poster is fantastic.
