I noticed a friend of mine mentioned the other day they had "lost their hoop" not sure how you lose one...but anyway. It made me remember a conversation we had at a On The Bus show many months ago (great DC local Dead cover band) about how they really wanted an LED hoop but could not afford. So I thought I would make it a surprise. :-)

I will probably be looking for a hoop in the very near future after the little get together in Nashville last weekend my friend Michelle has a deep desire to go to Bonnaroo. And she was doing good with hooping with Holls and Abrakapokus. So? how do I get started looking for one for a beginner after all there can be nothing wrong with another hooper is there? She never gets on the board here but I will be fixing that in the near future as well.

She really was good! She picked up my small light hoop that I mostly use for breaks and off body movements and was waist hooping. That's awesome for a first timer. Tell her to just google hooping + her area and look for classes. Most classes will have hoops for you to use and then she can find the size/weight that is good for her. Whatever you do don't get a child's hoop, nothing can be be worse than trying to hoop with one made for a small child. Tell her to get on here, she was a super cool lady!
