I lost my wife's watch last year. Thanks for the reminder, I still need to replace it!
In 06 our camp was robbed. My buddy's backpack was stolen with about $200 of MY cash in it. The wook also took 2 sixers of Dale's. Still my wife's watch was the worst.

i also "lost" (more like taken by entrance security :/ ) about $60 worth of various LED lights/glowsticks that would surely have enhanced my 'roo experience when asked at the gate if i had anything in the car that i wasnt suppose to or something like that, i foolishly admitted to having *gasp* glow toys hahaha, next year ill just put them in my suitcase or something

I lost a cooler with 12ish high lifes in it, and two camping chairs on Sunday night of 07. Half our camp moved out before WSP leaving it way more open and I left the stuff out overnight like I had all weekend without problems, but that was a bad idea.
My parents contact info was on the chair cause it was theirs and they got a call from some spun out wooks talking about how they're in a farm in Tennessee with my stuff and laughing. It was humorous looking back, i guess
I lost my van for a couple of days in 05 and slept in a friends car. I parked early thur. morning in the middle of a wide open field in BFE and promptly hiked in to the festivities. When I returned, the field was packed with cars, like finding a needle in a haystack!
there ain't no place I'd rather be, Drink all day and rock all night My name is treetop And I'm higher than you'll ever be I'm married to my roots here Still I feel like I am free 6/11/09 -> 6/14/09: Bonnaroo
I was on 'Roo '03. I was obsessive about this little neck pouch that I had with me at all times. It had all my cash, credit card, passport (I'm from Canada) and all other ID. At MMWs late night set, I lost my pouch. I looked around but I couldn't even see my own feet cause I was close to the front and surrounded by people. The show ended at 4:20am. I waited for the tent to empty out and walked around a bit. No luck. I happened to walk by an information tent and with nothing but good vibes at Bonnaroo, they actually had it, including ALL the cash I had in there! Coming back this year for the first time since and I can't wait! I'll still have my pouch

I had my backpack swiped with three tshirts (Including my WWCND (What would chuck norris do) Tshirt that I loved!) two pairs of shorts and a Bonnaroo poster. One of the reasons I am scared of doing tent only!

This reminds me. In 06' I had such a large group of neighbors that I drove down/hung out with back in Louisville that I was feeling pretty safe on friday night. I left my cooler out of the car and the next morning it was gone. Well after my usual morning prep I was still pissed off about it so I went on an expedition for it....cuz I mean, how far you gonna haul a cooler? Sure enough, 40minutes later I found it and stole it back. IN YO FACE!

Dang, what is up with the theft. I didn't have that problem last year. Does this tend to happen more in BFE, because there aren't as many people around?
Just lock all your valuables in your car before you leave for Centeroo.
2/5- Papadosio 3/3- MUSE 3/12- John Mayer 3/19- The Werks 3/31- Passion Pit 4/18- Ben Folds 4/20- Against Me! 6/10- Bonnaroo 6/30- Eric Clapton and Roger Daltrey
Lastyear I got back to the camp and all the coleman lanterns from our group had mysteriously gotten up and walked away.
Best score!- my friend lost her blackberry at Roo going through security right before MMJ. She was quite upset so I ran back to the security and sure enough! They grabbed it, and sent it to Lost and Found! She still has it today!

I've been to five Roos and (knock on wood) never had anything go missing from my camp. I've been in James Bond the last four years and I keep my cooler and stuff in the car. In truth, though, I don't ever bring much of value -- I don't know when I'd have time to use it. I'm only at camp from about 4 to 10 AM to sleep and other than that I'm at Centeroo.
(Okay, I'm going to go knock on some more wood for awhile since I just majorly jinxed myself!)
Oh yeah... and I came back from Roo 06 sans an Eddie Guerrero memorial shirt, a Joy Division "Closer" shirt, and a "Slipping Away" NIN shirt... none have resurfaced since that weekend.
That's okay, though... I gained allot of memories and a love for an event that I don't see subsiding any time soon.
