^^^Yeah, it's not like anyone who listens to the boot will want to hear select tracks anyway. And thanks so much for taping it and sharing it!
So I was somewhat close to the front when he began, but as soon as people began rushing the stage I found myself on the rail right in front of Greg. Never made it on stage, probably for the better considering what happened, but it was most certainly one of the funnest shows of the weekend. Sometimes his juxtapositions would make me laugh out loud as I was dancing. When the balloons dropped at the end I almost cried a bit, just because it was all so perfect.
sorry, but I went to Girl Talk and it was what I expected... dumb. Custie all you may but musically I may well have been at any party. I personally thought Crystal Castles was much more interesting. I couldn't even move at GT enough to dance and just didn't want to be there. If people are just there for the party, why can't they all just use that attitude at other concerts? I was at so many shows where the only thing I didn't like was that the crowd wasn't pouring all of its energy back to the band by dancing and cheering. It's as if they like GT just because they don't have to worry about being the only one going nuts. I'd just rather do it watching a musician

never had so much fun in my life. got there like an hour before crystal castles (before they were scheduled anyway...) and got up between the two rows of balloons, i can't even think about it without smiling.
and did anyone else think that crystal castles teasing with their sound and light checks was just mean? everyone around me (myself included) fell for that shiz EVERY TIME, for like 45 minutes.
