Figured there needed to be a Coheed appreciation thread, and what better way to show how awesome they will be at Bonnaroo than to show some clips of them playing with Warren Haynes.
"Welcome Home" Guitar Solo Battles(Warren Obviously tears it up)
"I Shall Be Released" - Guitarist from Coheed Singing with Warren Haynes
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

if i was younger and/or hadn't spent so many years being exposed to rush and queensryche i'd probably really like this band. i'll check em out again if theres nothing else going on in hopes of a warren appearance.
One band I have no interest in, save for Warren's appreciation... if there is nothing (and I mean NOTHING) else going on, I may check it out to see if Warren comes out... then again, that all depends on the schedule...
Let's just say, I really dislike their music, and if there wasn't a possibility Warren would join them for something, this band would have nothing to compel me.

i doubt you really dislike the music, you probably just dislike his voice.

I would probably never see these guys on my own in the real world... but that's what Roo is so beautiful for! Unless they are up against David Byrne or something else comparably ridiculous, I will at least see part if not all of this set to give them a chance to make me a fan

i dont know how long they will hold my interest, but i definitely plan on checking them out, definitely solid musicians, not really my favorite stylistically, but i'll rock out to them.
i don't understand that. i can definitely understand not liking his voice. but musically they are pretty good.
Yeah, I def don't like his voice. The way he inflects gets on my nerves after a few seconds. I kinda find them to be, ummmm, I dunno, pretentious? That being said, I would go see them if there wasn't a terrible conflict just because of what I've heard about their live shows.
I have to agree with mothersky and Danbird the whole package (group) for me is just unlikeable. Not terrible musicians just not that interesting at least what I have heard.
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."
