Springsteen (Like 10+ times) Beastie Boys NIN (only caught a little from far away at VirginFest before heading over to Armin Van Buren) Ben Harper (Again only like half a set at VirginFest) Ting Tings
Rodrigo Y Gabriela: So good, will see again pending conflict.
of Montreal: Good, but will probably skip. Seen them twice, and their current setlists are 85% Skeletal Lamping, which I despise.
TV on the Radio: SO GOOD, Will see again at here at roo.
MGMT: Saw them last year. They haven't really put anything else out, their shows are pretty straightforward, from what i've seen. probably won't see them again unless there's nothing else to do.
Citizen Cope: Never heard before Langerado last year. Loved his set. Will probably skip though, in all likelihood.
Beastie Boys: Saw at Langerado last year. Definitely skipping them at all costs. a few months after seeing them I decided I view them as a joke, and can no longer stand them.
David Byrne Wilco Ben Harper (w/ Innocent Criminals) The Mars Volta Gov't Mule Andrew Bird MGMT Bela Fleck (in various arrangements) Galactic Lucinda Williams Gomez Robert Earl Keen Ted Leo
Doesn't include shows that I've seen from a distance at ACL or Roo.
I've seen a lot of bands on the line up but out of 4 trips to roo this line up has the least amount of bands I have seen before which is pretty great but it also has the least amount of bands I want to see which is also pretty great because hopefully I will have less conflicts.

Beastie Boys: Coachella 2003. Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Will not see at all unless they're the only act playing and Phish is following them.
Nine Inch Nails: headlining show in Minneapolis in 2000, and Coachella 2006. Great live performers, even for non-fans. Haven't seen them for a while, so I plan to see them, barring a huge conflict.
Wilco: Coachella (2005?). Quite disappointing, but their live reputation is so high (and I love their studio output) that I'll make a good effort (good, not strong) to see them this year.
Paul Oakenfold: Coachella 2006 (right before Madonna), and Area: One tour stop in Minneapolis. Crap both times. One of the worst, most predictable DJs I've ever seen. I don't understand his popularity. Definitely not planning to see him this year.
Ben Harper: seen about 6-7 times (Bridge School 2004, Bonnaroo 2007, Coachella 2003, some headlining shows, a solo benefit show, etc.). Great, consistent performer. Haven't seen yet with Relentless 7, so I'll try to see him, but he'll lose out to someone else if need be. But definitely see him if you haven't.
The Mars Volta. Coachella 2003. Another band that makes solid studio music, but is just a mess in concert. The acclaim they get on Inforoo for their live performances has befuddled me for years. Not opposed to trying them again, but they'll lose if there's a conflict.
TV on the Radio: Coachella 2006. Good, solid stuff. I enjoy them, but not to the extent of the music press. Wouldn't mind seeing them again.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs: opening for The White Stripes in 2003 and Lollapalooza 2007. Great live shows, if a bit over the top. Fun stuff, would recommend. Will see again this year, barring heavy conflict.
Gov't Mule: Bonnaroo 2007. Great, consistent performers, with a well-earned live reputation. Would love to see their full set this year, as I missed a lot of the '07 set due to Galactic's awesome rap show.
The Decemberists: Bonnaroo 2007. I love their albums, but was hesitant to see them live, as the music just didn't seem like it would work in concert. I was quite wrong. They're playing the whole new album in sequence on their current tour. If I like the album, I'll probably plan on seeing them again.
Bela Fleck: seen in numerous guises, including twice at Bonnaroo 2008 and a few months ago in Seattle. Great stuff, but he'll probably lose out in a conflict.
Rodrigo y Gabriela: Bonnaroo 2007 and Lollapalooza 2007. Fantastic guitarists and a highlight of 'Roo '07. However, I still can't help but think of them as a great novelty act, a la The Polyphonic Spree or Mindful Self Indulgence, as I already got tired of them by Lolla '07, a scant 2 months later. I wouldn't mind seeing them, but I won't make an effort. However, if they're new to you, definitely go.
Galactic: seen several times, including their epic 'Roo rap show. I've never actually seen them do a "typical," Galactic-only show, so I think I'll try hard to catch them this year. Great live shows.
Drive-By Truckers: Bonnaroo last year and some solo shows. Great stuff, and I'm curious about the Booker T. collaboration. Will make an effort to see them.
Animal Collective: Coachella a few years back. Don't buy into the hype, especially concerning their live shows. Will avoid.
Jenny Lewis in Rilo Kiley, opening for Pedro the Lion many years ago. Not bad, not good, just there. Not planning to see her.
Grizzly Bear: headlining a hole-in-the-wall in Minneapolis in 2006. Not bad, not bad. Good mellow stuff, but I predict they'll get drowned out at 'Roo. Worth seeing, but I won't make a huge effort.
Ted Leo: Lollapalooza 2007. Great pop-punkish stuff, really catchy. Would recommend, and I'll probably catch them again.

Glad I did this so I can come back and prioritize once the schedule comes out. Sorry to "hate" on the jam bands, but the majority of the genre isn't progressive enough for me anymore. However, I am soooooo ready to get some Phish shows in this summer.

The Mars Volta -- saw several years ago in St. Paul but enjoyed it then, imagine it's only gotten better; plan to see them unless there's a conflict, but isn't that always the case? Gov't Mule -- saw at Bonnaroo 2007, fantastic show, great guests. another that i'll see, unless there is something else of more priority at the same time MGMT -- saw at Bonnaroo 2008, great fun way to kick off the weekend. Plan to see again this year, especially since my girlfriend likes them but hasn't seen them yet. Pretty Lights -- saw them open in early March for STS9, put on a good show, got people dancing. Probably won't see again at Roo though, but maybe.
2010: 3/12: The Bad Plus/Happy Apple/Buffalo Collision/The Bad Apple 6/10-13: Bonnaroo 6/19: Rock the Garden 7/30-31: Mid West Music Fest 8/21: Los Hombres Calientes 8/31: Marijuana Death Squads 9/11: The Book of Right On w/ City on the Make 9/23: Of Montreal w/ Janelle Monae 10/4: Broken Social Scene 11/23: Grinderman
Springsteen: didn't get the full experience (saw him play three solo acoustic songs at a Kerry rally) but am eager to see the whole shebang
Phish: you guys already know this...
Beastie Boys: were my first concert back in 1994, always a good time
NIN: Roo will be my 9th NIN show, if that's any endorsement...
David Byrne: saw him on the farm in 04, plan to do it again in 09 pending the schedule
Wilco/Elvis Costello/Ben Harper/Decemberists/Andrew Bird/MGMT/Citizen Cope/Ted Leo & Rx : seen them before, including (possibly/probably) their past Bonnaroo appearances. been there, done that, will probably decide against them in a schedule conflict vs. an act I haven't seen
Mars Volta: quack YEAH! Melted my face in 05.
Jenny Lewis/Neko Case: will probably see her again, unless I have a bigger crush on someone playing a different stage
Coheed & Cambria: played Warped Tour the last year I went (5-6 years ago) & I didn't dislike them as much as most of the bands I saw that day.
Michaels Ian Black & Showalter: quacking hilarious, but probably going to skip them since there's so many other comedy acts worth seeing (mmmm Triumph/Daily Show/Todd Barry)
