Haahaaha! Wasn't around in '06 so can't say for sure...but if it did leak a bit early in 07....which I think some of it did...that would explain what it was so tightly held last year and so hard to get hold of until the last min....which makes me think they will still be pretty tight with it this year. But...they DO have to start releasing to media outlets 24-48 hours out so yeah....tomorrow and Monday there COULD be some loose lips....though as I say....it will be the inexperienced ones and ones that won't be around next year most likely! LMAO!!

I seem to remember it being a Knoxville newspaper putting online the night before in 2006. And Radiohead had been rumored since the weekend ended in 2005.
hmmm someone on PT is claiming Phish is playing latenight Friday and headlining Sunday and Moe is playing Saturday latenight. his source is straight from Moe. probably not true but the Phish late night Friday and headline Sunday would make a lot of sense and would go along with what a lot of people have been telling me is rumored.

Yeah the Radiohead rumors were strong for a long time (it's what got me on Inforoo), but that's not all that surprising with Bonnaroo. I've said it elsewhere, but unlike other festivals, it seems Bonnaroo keeps a tight lid on everything else but the headliner. We usually know at least two of the three headed into the lineup announcement.
Nine Inch Nails Beastie Boys The Allman Brothers Thievery Corporation The Mars Volta Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band Medeski, Martin, Scofield, and Wood Moe. Bela Fleck and the Africa Project Umphrey’s Mcgee STS9 Animal Collective Girl Talk Infected Mushroom Atmosphere Old Crow Medicine Show Coheed and Cambria M. Ward Holy quack Fleet Foxes Mute Math Crystal Castles
by the way, wheres the heavy music on the lineup? Last year we got Metallica, Mastodon and The Sword. I was hoping we'd get Down (who was added on Myspace) or Opeth, or someone else awesome. (REAAAALLY hoping for Opeth)
In 2007, my source told me TOOL and the POLICE would be headlining. Last year, he said Zep was a no go for sure and that METALLICA was going to be playing along with a short list of other bands that would be attending as well. This is what he sent me today. I understand it is hard to believe anything anyone says when it comes to lineups around this time of year...but this is what he sent me. I was a bit confused as well by the order, lack of 'unknown' or 'unheard' of bands, etc.
But he has been right so many times before. I don't know. I should change the thread title, shouldn't I?
Look man, on the bright side, if you're right about this, you're golden for life on Inforoo. I've seen guys make their whole career off finding and leaking us the lineup early.

Even if this isn't the real lineup, why can't you believe that AC/Superfly could put out an equally good lineup? I know after listening to all the bands on the lineup last year I thought that it was actually a really strong lineup, mainly with the newer bands. Ghostland Observatory was THE MOST INTENSE show I have ever seen, as was Sigur Rós.

I have a feeling i'm going to be blown away by the setlist...Assuming they arent doing the same basic set for Light In The Sky...
Other points of interest: Ben Harper Modest Mouse Black Keys Tv On The Radio Ghostland (missed em' last year) Fleet Foxes Mars Volta Mute Math.....And for the record, if you havnt been to a Mute Math show I highly recommend it. They go flippin ape!
I'm holding back on believing this because I'm NOT excited about it. Am I the only one? There's only 8 artists on there that I've never heard of, but there's only...uh....2 that I'm really excited about. And another 6 that I've sort of been meaning to check out.
LOOKS LIKE SOME OF YOU WILL BE HEADING BACK TO LOLLA!!! (not directed at plasticpepper)
the ones i'd see of that lineup
Phish!!! Bruce Beasties!! NIN! Allman's!!! Thievery Corp. David Byrne! Modest Mouse M.S.M.W.!! moe.!! Keller!!! Black Keys! Bela' Fleck!! Erykah Badu!! Umph! STS9!!! Al Green!! Ghostland Infected Mushroom!! Old Crow Atmosphere Vida Blue!! Deadmau5!!
I really want to believe!

no Dead, in any form. Nor is there any MMJ. I want a redo of the show that was rained out.
But Ghostland Observatory.... quack yes.
That is all.
Rained out? For the brave souls who could stand the rain... they got 4 hours of pure MMJ goodness.
As for no Dead in any form... if they're touring together this summer... it's either all or nothing. You can't take them off of their tour schedule to try and get a side project for a night.
I'm also skeptical because there are only 5 tiny bands included. I know a lot of the smaller acts don't get announced until the lounge is announced... but still. We know Raphael Saadiq will be there from the MySpace leak, but he's not on the lineup. That's where this "leak" went wrong... it's missing a lot of smaller bands.
